A friend of mine showed me something interesting. A commemorative coffee cup from DPMS.
The text on it says “May 2012 Record Amount Shipped in 30 Days 13,794 Units.”
Think about that. In May of 2012, DMPS made and sold 13,794 AR-15 pattern rifles.
That was this month, six years ago. That was a record month, so how many were made in the months before and after? How many have been made since then?

It’s a trivial observation but isn’t it DPMS?
why because we like and buy products that people can use to kill other people with- You know, like law abiding knife owners are to blame for all the murders done with knives- auto owners are to blame for all the murders committed with vehicles- law abiding pool owners are responsible for all the kids that drown in pools=- law abiding 5 gallon pail owners are likewise responsible for all the kids and toddlers that drown in pails- etc etc etc
Fat fingers. Yes it is DPMS.
Because we cannot be trusted. Can we trust something or someone who doesn’t trust us?
Figuring 10,000 for an average month, that would be 720,000 rifles.
And that is one smallish manufacturer.
