In return, she gets lots of DNC money for her increasingly threatened re-election campaigns (and probably gets any potential Dem primary contestants politically whacked). Some quality black person ought to run in her district and unseat her. It should be as simple as showing her demented lying statements against the truth. The woman is an insult to the black community in America.

Her tantrum is calculated to raise money so she can keep her lifetime job in Congress and enjoy the perks that go along with the position. Waters has latched onto this issue - hate the President - because it requires no thought or nuance and can be easily understood. She is going to milk the hatred for all it is worth. In the meanwhile, she lives in her gated home in California, when not sliding through the Swamp, away from her impoverished constituents. After all, she doesn’t want to actually see them or interact with them. For Waters, this is a win-win situation.

This story does bring up an interesting point. If a President makes a deal with a foreign power that the congress may tacitly back but the senate does not have to vote in as a treaty, then the legislature can’t go howling if another president decides to end the deal. That is the danger of giving a president virtual treaty making and breaking power(but calling it “deals” instead)!
