I imagine they’ll use chain saws to carve with.
Unless they are battery powered, charged by solar cells, they’ll burn more fossil fuel, creating the dreaded carbon emissions.

It’s worse than that (Extra CO2 to get there for this stunt, CO2 to carve it, etc.). Carving anything INTO the solid glacier means you’re carving ice OFF of the glacier, making smaller pieces that will melt FASTER!
