WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Public concern about global warming is evident across all age groups in the U.S., with majorities of younger and older Americans saying they worry about the problem a great deal or fair amount. However, the extent to which Americans take global warming seriously and worry about it differs markedly by age, with adults under age 35 typically much more engaged with the problem than those 55 and older.

Because young children are being indoctrinated in schools, rather than being educated.
Maybe take a look at old weather records....and sea levels....and you’ll find that nothing has changed.

18-year-olds are like, “The Climate is definitely warming! Look at this weather! It wasn’t like this 3 years ago!!”
60-year-olds are like, “Trust me. It’s always been like this.”
Because youngsters have not had to listen to chicken little cries and predictions of doom over the last 30 years, none of which has ever happened.

Perhaps because of inadvertent selective breeding the average 18 year-old will have a slightly lower IQ than the average person from an older generation.
And, by the way, this is NOT sarcasm but an observation I’ve made.
In other news, people under 35 are more likely to do ignorant, reckless things than those 55 or older. Reality is a harsh mistress. Its patience for stupid has limits.
Youngins have the least experience with flimflam artists..
And, they have been subjected to this propaganda since at least kindergarten. The brainwashing begins early and it is relentless.

Holes in the ozone layer - we’re all going to die from skin cancer if we even walk outside for 10 minutes.
And don’t forget the “Coming Ice Age” predicted in the 70’s. Back then they didn’t call it settle science because we were too naive to question it at the time.
I also remember about 12-15 years ago seeing some graph showing that by 2015 or so there would literally be NO crude oil left to obtain.

Yep. My private schooled 17 year old believes in the myth. My homeschooled 13 year old rolls his eyes, uses air quotes, and says “fake news” anytime he hears the phrase global warming/climate change.
Young people have been brainwashed about climate change since pre-kindergarten. That’s why so many are depressed, anti-social, and suicidal.
Older people are wise to how much the government and media have lied in the past so they do not believe everything they hear and read.
