And given the fact that they supposedly have all of Cohen’s records and if they have a record of then Private Citizen giving one of his attorney’s $130k, where they certainly would have tried to get him to deny it, they can’t anymore.

Exactly how it was described to me by a friend who watched it — except that my friend assumed Rudy was “off his meds”! I maintain Rudy's latest divorce is evidence that the man is losing it. He's in his 70s, has survived cancer, and has two prior failed marriages. He's been away from the Church for decades and finally has money. Things aren't great with Wife #3? Ok, so live in separate houses for a while and start going to Mass again so you are “right with God” when you die. Why spend your last decade fighting over money? Plus, having been involved in politics, Rudy knows how to recognize potential ‘October surprises’ and similar ‘bombshells’ - and get ahead of them before they become MSM fodder.
I think, once again, it would behoove Trump to make Mueller subpoena him. Take this again to the masses, just in time for the mid terms and make us all come out in force to vote for his endorsements.

With regards to this crap, who cares. Time will tell if Rudy did the right thing or the wrong thing. All I can think is that the President has been very crafty, thus far and now that it’s coming out that the raids on Cohen were done under the old authorizations, even though they say it has nothing to do with the original investigation. Rosenstein apparently backdating authorizations for this and that, knowing that there’s no way they could get new warrants.
I'd hope the latter.

An illegal $130K campaign contribution would be taken care of by the FEC in one of two ways.
A fine, or a refund of the contribution.
Going to jail over a one time small illegal campaign contribution is pretty much unheard of.

Went over this with the zealots over and L&C. FEC don’t have cops, they don’t issue warrants and arrest people. They fine or sue for repayment if the alleged deny doing anything wrong.
Giuliani has shaken things up and is using the opportunity to get out in public some potentially bad news. What needs to follow is for the White House to clearly state that the witch hunt is now old news and redirect all discussions through Giuliani. Get Sanders out of the loop, get the White House out of the loop. Move on.
