The annual White House Association Correspondents’ Dinner was held in Washington, DC last night. President Trump opted to skip the event for the second year in a row. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and several other White House officials represented him in his place. While humor was expected from the speakers at the dinner, some viewers felt that comedian Michelle Wolf’s jokes targeting Huckabee Sanders went too far. Conservatives and liberals alike lambasted Wolf for her attempts at be being funny. Perhaps The strongest condemnation of all came from MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski.
Brzezinski, who is no fan of the administration, thought Wolf’s jokes making fun Huckabee Sanders appearance were mean spirited and “deplorable.” She called on the White House Correspondents' Association to issue an apology.
Of course critics could argue that for years on end conservatives have been saying that society is too concerned with political correctness. Therefore, they might say, people should not take offense to the comments. However, many would respond that there is a difference between being funny and being rude.

The White House Correspondents Dinner is a direct symbol of who was really in charge in Washington, which is to say the Media was the real power.
Trump won in spite of the Media. He won, in part, because he was willing to stand up to the Media and beat them.
They want the illegitimate power they have been weilding for 50 years. They want it desparately.
But Trump won’t give it to them, and we tell them to just go away already!

I agree - and Sarah Huckabee knows she is an attractive and smart woman, and that the left’s tactics include attacking conservative women. We have seen the same kind of attacks by the left on numerous other women.
I wonder what it would like to picket that event, simply using a sign with the above photo (Uncle Walter).
Listen to the whole thing. The chick was actually pretty good and didn’t pander to anyone and took down everyone. You should hear what she said about pussy hats and abortion. this girl is no dummy. She did not “target” Sarah Sanders. She took down everyone in the world. She criticized abortion, the pussy hat movement, all the networks, it was a bash of everyone! Worth the time.
