People at least significantly responsible for the apparently successful Korea summit:

-Donald Trump
-Kim Jong Un
-Moon jae-In
-Xi Jinpeng

People not responsible:

-Barack Obama
-Kim Jong Uns "hot" sister
-The Clintons
-The Democratic Party
-Progressives

Kim Yo-Jong is probably the power behind the throne in NK as evidenced by her presence at the summit.

I believe the current president of South Korea is a leftist and agrees with most of the socialist platform.

Looks like Trump must have scared the hell out of this little Un guy.

Trump is another Reagan. All the Leftist bull sh#t goes nowhere, but somebody that means business and actually cares about peace and individual freedom gets the job done.

The Left really isn’t interested is peace because chaos, not peace, is the only way to attain their objective of goal Totalitarian World Government.

Any confirmation out there at all to the “rumor” that NK is negotiating for peace because of the catastrophic failure of the nuclear testing site?

“Normal” Diplomacy is not engaged in solving international problems. Normal diplomacy is engaged in providing livelihoods and status to Diplomats. The longer the “negotiations” are inconclusive the longer the gravy train.

That was my call a few days back and now he has to protect any vestige of power that he has.

But remember, he was dancing with Madeline at the same time he was ramping up his nuke program.

Come on, Madeline Halfbright helped lay the groundwork by showing how it’s NOT done.

And the US MILITARY. In particular, US nuclear weapons!

One of our space based kinetic weapon was used. Basically a ceramic coated tungsten telephone pole that hit that mountain at Mach 25+. It left a mark as in collapsed the whole thing with 3/4th of Un’s nuke team in it. Left a chimney structure. Now China is worried about fallout contamination via the chimney. Why do you think Un was called to meet Xi? It was a cut your crap moment.

The NORKS were chasing our 1945 tech. You think we have not progressed a tad? We have.

You see how nervous Un looked meeting Moon and then it was all giggles and smiles? Un believed Moon was going to stab him in the heart. He then realized it was hopscotch as they hopped back and forth across the border hand in hand and he was being respected. Big grin. Then he signs the guest book with a promise of butterflies, rainbows and unicorns will fly out of his rather ample ass.

Rocket Man’s ass unpuckered a bit after Pompeo. His butt is now relaxed and he can do BMs again.

Heck, I suspect he will meet Trump at MaraLago for a round of golf and discussions.

No peace prize for Trump.
They would give it to Kim instead for spite.

I think the Chinese told Kim he would be made into dog food by them and/or the Americans.
I want their nuclear material removed from the country.

One of the conditions that let this happen at this time in history is that the Chinese have become rich because of us, and Trump is able to leverage their economy to get their help to fix a problem of ours. Plus, a war in the far east would not be good for their business interests. They only want NK to keep going as they are as a way to distract us and force us to waste resources. But if it is going to blow back on them, then they will go along with bringing NK to heel. And that’s what Trump knew, and that’s how he succeeded.

In the 90s, it might not have been possible to end the war, but it would have been possible to deny NK nukes. Now, we can do both, and I am guessing that NK is going along because they will be promised that they can develop as China has, with help from the south. They will be cheap labor for SK’s industries and soon be rich beyond what those peasants can imagine.
