That does not compute since no one even guessed Donald Trump would run for president 8 years later Am I missing something here?
here is CNN info
https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/26/politics/missing-strzok-page-text-messages/index.html
in the immediate aftermath of the Comey firing on May 9, 2017, Strzok texted: “We need to open the case we’ve been waiting on now while Andy is acting.”
It’s not clear what Strzok case is referring to. CNN has reached out to attorneys of Strzok and Page for comment.
I don’t understand this part of the article..CNN somehow got redacted parts of the texts that Congress didn’t?
https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/26/politics/missing-strzok-page-text-messages/index.html
fter the special counsel is appointed, Strzok writes he disagrees with a decision involving the special counsel that’s redacted in the texts provided to Congress.
“It won’t end with him. It will have a chilling effect on others. It won’t engender any of the happylovetimes goodwill with staff that seem to be oozing from burr and warner,” Strzok writes.
Were it up to me i would fire everyone at the FBI and demolish the damn building. I realize Trump probably cant do this but i am reminded of the movie Walking Tall when he found out he couldnt fire the guy but he DID get to assign offices and had his desk moved next to the urinal in the mens room. Maybe moving FBI HQ to Fargo would fix a few things.
Barrow Alaska or the south side of Chicago.
(6) Maybe moving FBI HQ to Fargo ..... (7) Barrow Alaska

I had to look it up, too although I was familiar with the name, just not which term this was. I assumed they meant re-elected to this most recent term.

Alright, that makes more sense.
And the first part of the body of the article was what I quoted earlier: Democratic U.S. Rep. Dave Loebsack is rejecting criticism from a leading advocate for the impeachment of Donald Trump that the congressman is disregarding a 'clear mandate' from his constituents to oust the president."
A paywall blocks me out I guess until my dynamic IP address changes or whatever. When that happens, I can't get back to all of it and don't delete my cookies Then I get a few days free and get blocked again. I refuse to subscribe to the online version because of their bias. Here's a sample:
On January 30, 2016 they endorsed Bernie Sanders. In the editorials they had a long puff piece in the editorials of an interview with Hillary. And when Trump flew his plane to Des Moines Fairgrounds and too took some kids up in it or his helicopter, can't remember, they followed the lead of Huff Po and put the article in the Entertainment Section.
We could try a hostile takeover of the parent company with a huge stock buyout but probably wouldn't do much good if we could even raise the money. Their stock was floundering back in 2013, don't know what it is doing now. About the same, closed at 2.30 today.
More than you wanted to know.
