The thing is, Bill was far from the only one.

If he doesn’t get sent away it doesn’t mean anything; but I think he will go to jail.

“My contention is that none of this would have ever come up except that he was effective in criticizing the Liberal Black Victim culture.”

I agree with you 100%. I do not understand this crap. I understand no limitations on murder. But repressed memory bad sex?? give me a break. This is tyranny of the female and it is outrageous. IS there no statute of limitations on assault of a male also? My God. Can all those guys I beat up in high school press criminal charges on me now? Or is it just females can press assault charges 15 year later. What is going on here?

Back in the I Spy Robert Culp days I was a service tech for a company that took care of Hi-Rise condos on Galt Ocean Dr in Fl.
Worked in Cosbys apt a few times so I was aware he was a resident.
He was never there.

I asked the security and staff about him.
The said he was a nasty P$!ck and especially rotten to the little kids which by the way in the early 70’s were all white in a building like that.

F Bill Cosby

Given Cosby’s age, infirmities and fall from celebrity I would not be surprised if he took the easy way out.

I think he would never have been caught if he hadn’t bucked the plantation and gone against the ‘Rat narrative.

It almost sounds like you’re defending Cosby.

Makes me wonder what your motives are.

Looks like the jury understands what consent means.

Good.

Cosby’s chief accuser, Andrea Constand, sat stone-faced in the first row but
tilted her head back and breathed a sigh of relief after jurors were formally polled.

It’s, unfortunately, the basis for a pretty strong appeal. The judge telling the jury that they can make it up themselves implies there is no legal standard.

...

I think that was a good direction by the judge. It is up to the jury to decide.

There’s blood in the water now. You watch, the Trump-haters will re-double their efforts to bring sexual harassment suits against him.

Such a good verdict.

...

Could be. Having been on a jury it can be difficult to convict.

I can’t imagine what it’s like when the accused is a celebrity who used to have such a good reputation.

I am. As I’ve pointed out already - he settled with his accuser originally and then was retried for the same crime 4 times until they got the verdict they wanted.

Had he been found not guilty today I somehow doubt you’d be agreeing with that verdict.

And why be rude and accuse me snidely of being a rapist?

Why not just come out and say it?

He called the prosecutor an asshole because he deserved to be.

...

I think when a person’s in court and just been convicted, something more diplomatic would be better.

I don’t understand. He probably did it but I see no evidence. Even if there was isn’t the limitations seven years? Not sticking up for him but this seemed to be a witch hunt ever since he said black men should be fathers. I’d like to see evidence but I suppose 100 women can’t be wrong. Will Monicka ever see Bubba in prison or is that a bad parallel?

Sadly, would have to agree with you on that one.

But there’s still a lot of real old fashioned gentlemen here, too.

Normally, I would give the guy the benefit of the doubt.

But in this case, the stories are pretty much all the same. And there are a LOT of them.

If this was a rapper, he would have been in jail for two years already.

Billy is not going to like the joint.
