US President Donald Trump and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron have suggested there could be a new agreement on Iran's nuclear programme.
After talks in the US, Mr Trump, who is sceptical of an accord that was struck in 2015, spoke about "doing a much bigger, maybe, deal".
Mr Macron said a new pact must cover Iran's ballistic missile programme and its role in the Middle East.
Iran warned of "severe consequences" if the US withdraws from the deal.

Merkel’s head is exploding.
Merkel and May chose to signal their virtue by chastising Trump and distancing themselves from him. Macron invited him to France and embraced him. If Merkel is upset of a new Franco-American alignment and increased prestige and power for France then perhaps she should look within for the reasons.

Whatever Macron said to Trump about Iran you can be sure Merkel will be repeating it to him on Friday in the White House.
The point is the EU position was to keep the Iran deal as is....no changes. Macron was supposed to seal the deal with TRUMP.
That didn’t happen and TRUMP will change the deal. The EU is going to go nuts!
Don’t be surprised if Merkel cancels her trip.

This is just as bad if not worse than nuclear North Korea. Why go into historic talks to denuclearize North Korea only to embolden a potential nuclear Iran? Why in Hell does this administration carry over ANYTHING Obama let alone deal with a ruthless human rights slaughtering country that wants to wipe America and Israel off the face of the planet? BTW, screw the Fascist EU which has so much to gain by a nuclear Iran. What does the USA gain?
