Its not moving the needle because most people view the GOP as an ineffective mess who do the bidding of the Chamber of Commerce. They are more interested in explaining why they can’t move an agenda forward and scoring points with the media by criticizing Trump than actually doing something useful.

It’s not about the deed, it’s about who accomplishes it. Were Bill Clinton or Barack Obama in office, the “media” would be singing praise songs on high about this “manna from Heaven.” Like it or not, that affects how Americans think.

Ho hum....

Fake polls generate fake news.

Democrats and Russians seem to think such dirty tricks can influence elections.

Not moving the needle, huh.

Couple of points:

-Obamacare Tax still effects a lot of people and its cost tends to hide a couple extra sawbucks in the take home.
-As if that’s not enough, Congress making lower rates temporary, is basically taking the public hostage: “vote us out, raise the corporate rates, and you peasants will lose your cut.”
-”Next Round of Tax Cuts” - not for us. With a Trillion Dollar Ryan Deficit, any new relief will be fought over...and he with the biggest pockets..

OK, so its 3 points. As Jacko sang “chew me, Sue me”

You can keep your tax cuts if you like them - vote Republican.

If you don’t like your tax cut - vote Democrat.

Gallup "International" is headquartered in Washington DC and is part of the swamp.

Gallup's credibility as an independent polling organization ended after they lobbied for and were awarded huge no bid government contracts.

Gallup was fined 10.5 million dollars in 2012 for violating the False Claims Act and the Procurement Integrity Act.

There is still time to energize the electorate if the Republicans want to, namely, get that infrastructure program moving asap - takes time for the benefits to accrue to the working man.

Make some tangible, lasting progress on stopping and reversing the illegal invasion.

Do those two things and it should be a hands down landslide in November.

P.S. - if the ACA was repealed as promised, it would have been smooth sailing into the mid-terms. Major mistake but hopefully not fatal.

This is the media attempting to further the Democrat narrative that the tax cuts are useless.

I will say though that the GOP cannot hang their hat on this one issue.

Could be true, polls arent exactly reliable. I mean lots of folks are simply too stubborn or ignorant to believe in the benefits of the cuts. Im 100 percent sure the tax cuts positively effected far more folks than negatively effected them. But people are being brainwashed to think that somehow Trump screwed them....so he will not get much credit and therefore not translate to the GOPs ability to gain votes.

Doubt it. If this were actually true the media would be running stories about it all the time.

DUH!...

At this point, after watching the Republican messaging in these special elections, I fully expect the Republicans to lose the house this fall. Republicans will pick up several senate seats.

The one thing that can save the R’s at this point are the Dems.... If they keep doing stupid stuff like this sore/loserman lawsuit.. that may be enough to motivate turnout for the R vote in spite of the GOP ecosystems complete incompetence....

And should the D’s actually decide to openly run on Impeachment this fall, the Republicans will not only hold the house, but will likely gain somewhere between 25 and 50 more seats.

However the way things stand right now, and the messaging the R’s have been using, I fully expect them to lose the house this fall. Won’t be a 1994 or 2010 blowout.. but they will lose enough seats to lose control of the house.

Unless the GOP ecosphere WAKES up, and realizes who the electorate is, and why Trump won... they are going to lose the house. If they are determined to just run messaging in the campaign like they have done for the last nearly 20 years, democratic enthusiasm will give the D’s wins in enough Purple and Pink districts to take the house this fall.

Maybe ‘cuz the (revenue neutral) ‘tax-cuts’ didn’t effect the avg. taxpayer? Anything noted has been at the benevolence of the employer, not in The People keeping more of their own property.

Plus, given the (R)N(C) has done NOTHING, aside from lip-service and lies, to repeal O’Care (sorry, folks, but nuking the mandate doesn’t negate the horrible ‘law’) and given us $1.3T+ in deficits and higher debt.

They can manufacture all the fake polling they want for the DNC, it doesn’t change fiction to fact.

Check the consumer confidence and unemployment numbers if you want a real gauge on how US voters are feeling
