Shania Twain Explains Her Trump Comments(Wha wha wha)

Country star Shania Twain is Canadian, but if she had the chance to vote in the 2016 American presidential election, she would have supported Donald Trump. She made the declaration this weekend in an interview with The Guardian and, as expected, she got plenty of hate for it.

"I would have voted for him because, even though he was offensive, he seemed honest," Twain said. "Do you want straight or polite? Not that you shouldn't be able to have both. If I were voting, I just don't want bullsh-t. I would have voted for a feeling that it was transparent. And politics has a reputation of not being that, right?"

Sadly, like many high profile figures who have dared to show even an ounce of support for the current president, Twain apologized for her innocuous comment.

At one time she tried to claim Indian heritage because her father was Indian. Turned out to be her step-father.

As I understand it, The (Red) Guardian makes the NY Slimes or Washington (Com)Post look downright unbiased. Leave it to a socialist organ like The (Red) Guardian to ask an entertainer who is not an American citizen, nor does she even live in North America, who she would vote for in a US election. How thoroughly one dimensional; EXACTLY like the homo and LGBTQ 'activists' who define themselves wholly by who and what they have sex with! How pathetic! How typically socialist brain-dead!

Prop up half your base, piss off half your base.

In Shania's case, she probably pissed off both sides. She pissed off the lefties by saying she would have voted for Trump; and now has pissed off righties by walking it back.

I used to be a fan of hers. In fact, she may be the most recent pop star I listened to. I liked her album "The Woman in Me", which is her most country-sounding album. "Come on Over" was a good pop album, and I loved her sexy music videos. Haven't cared for anything else from her since. She has been semi-retired for a number of years. I doubt she is worried about the hit her career might take (which seems to be merely a glitzy Las Vegas act now).

Still makes her more Indian than Elizabeth Warren.

She’s apparently just as big a dipshit as her fellow Canadian Celine Dion.

Come on, she said she’d vote for Trump and that is what got her in trouble. It was media blackmail.

Yes, she caved but I’m not going to perpetuate the evil caused by the fake news. I’m not going to give them what they wanted and if other conservatives do it just encourages them to ruin other innocent people.

Like everything else in the entertainment industry, country music is being taken over by the gay agenda mafia. They have quietly taken over record labels, artists management companies, etc., and are controlling not only music content, but artists public statements on political issues. Country music is done.

Too bad. She should think before she tells us her politics.
And she couldn’t have voted for Trump because she’s a Canadian. Only a Canadian Democrat could vote in our elections due to voter fraud. Don’t cover up for her.

I’m ashamed of her, and that’s the end of my interest in anything she does. She’s alienated half of American voters. Too bad. Ta ta!
