Gingrich on DNC's Trump-Russia-WikiLeaks Lawsuit: Let FBI Look at Hacked Servers
Fox News Insider ^ | April 20, 2018

The Democratic National Committee's (DNC) filed a multimillion-dollar federal lawsuit against Trump campaign officials, the Russian government and WikiLeaks, alleging a widespread conspiracy to tilt the 2016 election in Donald Trump's favor.

The suit claims that Trump campaign officials worked in tandem with the Russian government and its military spy agency to bring down Hillary Clinton by hacking into the computer networks of the DNC and spreading stolen material.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich responded by calling on the DNC to allow the FBI to look at the servers they claim were hacked.

"The first test for the DNC should be, open up the servers and allow the FBI to look at them," Gingrich said on "Outnumbered Overtime."

Julian Assange will be forced under oath to reveal he got the DNC emails from Seth Rich. Followed shortly after by the opening of a murder investigation against DNC officials...we can always dream

If it were me....the minute I got them back, I would have made a back-up copy, and destroyed the servers. The Sessions idiots would ask them only if the servers were around, and just accept the answer....never asking if they had a back-up copy.

I would suggest this...there is no ‘hack’ without some verification process. If they did exist and you went through all of the process notes...to find that this was done with the guy standing in the room, versus sitting in Moscow, then it’d turn into a different kind of problem.

It appears the DNC is running out of ideas as well as brains. Let take a look at the servers.

The NSA did an analysis of the traffic speed at the time of the so-called DNC Russian hack. Speed transfer speed too high (200 mbs) to be an upload had to be a download.Max upload is 20 mbs. Is this why the DNC did not want the FBI looking at the sever. Why is this information being keep quite. If the RNC would counter sue this is information i would want to put before the court.

–First, we used a 100 megabits-per-second (mbps) line to pull data from a one-gigabyte file to Amsterdam. The peak transfer speed was .8 MBps.

–Second, we used a commercial DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) to send the same one-gigabyte file to a commercial DSL in Amsterdam. The peak transfer speed was 1.8 MBps.

–Third, we pushed the same one-gigabyte file from a data center in New Jersey to a data center in the UK. The peak transfer speed was 12 MBps.

None of these attempts achieve anything close to the average rate of 22.7 megabytes per second evident in the July 5, 2016 download/copy associated with the DNC. In fact, this happens to be the speed typical of a transfer to a USB-2 external storage device. We do not think this pure coincidence; rather, it is additional evidence of a local download.

If President Trump wants to know the truth, he can order the FBI to do its job and NSA to cooperate. Whether the two and the CIA would obey such orders is an open question, given how heavily invested all three agencies are in their evidence-impoverished narrative about “Russian hacking.”

All three agencies have been aware all along that NSA has the data. One wonders why it should require a Presidential order for them to delve into that data and come up with conclusions based on fact, as opposed to “assessing.”

They’d have to allow a Russian and a Trump expert to look at the server, since they’ve put it at issue in their lawsuit. Ooops. D’oh!

If they deliberately destroyed it, that could lead to dismissal of the lawsuit and possible sanctions for spoliation of evidence.

Its hard to imagine their drives not having been formatted, and with modern drives you can’t recover anything.

2 years ago the democrats were very keen on keeping anyone they don’t control from seeing what was on those servers. Instead they successfully got their propaganda machines to make unsubstantiated aquzations against others on the basis of things they claimed to have found.

It should be Russia who should be suing the DNC and their propaganda media arm for defamation, not the other way around.

Those servers probably had more proof of DNC & Media corruption than was leaked which is precisely why nobody independent was allowed to look at them, and why they have probably been formatted several times by now.

Oh they’re still around, but I bet all the “incriminating” data the dnc is hiding is no longer on there.

As far as incriminating data, it’s stuff relating to voter fraud, voter suppression, vote buying, election rigging, extortion, laundering of foreign donations, and hundreds of other illegal activities that would send an average Joe to prison for a century.

In all honesty, there was no hack. It was an inside job by a bernie supporter but that goes against the whole Russian hacking/ collusion/ election tampering narrative the dnc manufactured because of their arrogance in assuming that cooking polling data is enough to sway elections.

“...DNC to allow the FBI to look at the servers they claim were hacked.”

It’s a civil lawsuit now. They can subpoena the DNC servers and have them examined by independent forensic experts. At this point, does anyone trust the FBI to give an honest assessment related to these issues?

Of course, that assumes the servers aren’t on the bottom of the Potomac river.

What good does it do for the FBI to look at the servers?
