It appears the Rats are cornered and now their tactic is to change the narrative by suing Russia and now Trump’s government.

Ah—a Rosenstein fan.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I would only add "rather than the fellow who's ultimately responsible for seeing Trump remains more tied up than McCabe or any of the other nefarious actors."

“In the news today: everyone everywhere is suing everyone for everything.”

And everything that’s wrong in the whole wide world is someone else’s fault!

Plus my Congressman is a paragon of virtue, but your’s is a POS! If only you had elected a Congressman like mine, everything would be working just fine in the House!

Lastly, it’s only a cold sore! and the check’s in the mail!

Words to die by!

You called my Congressman, Lizzy Crockajawea Warren, a POS!

She is, but I’m ticked and suing you anyway! I hate being left out.

The ultimate legal (litigation) defense strategy (meaning, the strategy that is most highly regarded by attorneys as elegant chess) is to convert a legal complaint into a status where the plaintiffs are suing themselves.

(I am going to grossly morph the fine details of this story bec they are too complex in real life) Once my brother (atty) found himself defending a couple of women who had inherited a building around which was found lots of petroleum pollutants. This was in Emeryville, CA, adjacent to the SF Bay. Which until recent gentrification was a complete industrial pit, since the 1910’s. Steelmaking and heavy industry during WW2, Southern Pacific RR line running through carrying all manner of petro products to Richmond refinery. The City was looking to take via eminent domain their $2.5 MM building for zero because the city wanted the land for a retail complex. The City asserted that the cleanup costs for the land would be $2.3 MM so the women should each take $100K, owe their attorneys $250K, and leave.

6 years later....

Ultimately he was able to show that the entire city was built on rubble barged over from SF after the 1906 earthquake and that nobody knew what the heck was in that, so fault could not be assigned as to whatever might be found in the ground. And indeed, the City itself was the one who placed all the polluted junk there and then decided to build on it.

McCabe has a legal team and they announced that they are going to sue the Trump administration...

McCabe should check with his former legal team of Jim Baker and Lisa Page before pursuing this...😳

“......these actions will just waste his money.”......

Do you really think it is HIS money being spent? If so, guess again.

I see this as nothing more than a publicity stunt to “hopefully” take away some of what is about to fall upon him when the house of cards collapses.

You must have meant, wash Sessions’ mouth out with soap.

‘Sessions Goes Off-Script to Praise Rosenstein Before Memo Release

Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Friday went off-script during a speech to praise Rod Rosenstein shortly before the release of a GOP-authored memo reportedly targeting the deputy attorney general. During his remarks at a Department of Justice event on sex-trafficking issues, Sessions thanked Rosenstein and Associate Attorney General Rachel Brand, saying, “Those two—Rod and Rachel—are Harvard graduates, they’re experienced lawyers. Rod had 27 years in the department. Rachel’s had a number of years in the department previously and so they both represent the kind of quality and leadership that we want in the department.” President Trump has reportedly viewed the memo—even before ever reading it—as a way to build a public argument against Rosenstein’s handling of the Russia probe.’

The dim base will eat it up. And this being an election year, it can’t hurt their hyperdramatic email fundraising campaign.

Yes, Sessions has a lot to answer for. He recused in the most backstabbing way possible—behind Trump’s back with no hint of a heads up. He’s turned every investigation that matters over to a pro-Hillary Trump-hating Deep State snake—Rosenstein, and he (Jeff) has directly facilitated a never-ending witch hunt/fishing expedition. The further afield Mueller goes, the more Sessions praises Rosenstein.

Sessions is a disgrace. It’s incredible that he has any defenders left.

Did McCabe's job description include writing the Presiden's Daily Briefings? Were they ever falsified under McCabes direction?

WIKI REFERENCE---CIA's George Tenent--"no PDBs could be released for publication no matter how old or historically significant it may be." During a briefing on May 21, 2002, Ari Fleischer, former White House Press Secretary, characterized the PDB as "the most highly sensitized classified document in the government."[13]

On September 16, 2015, CIA Director John Brennan spoke at the LBJ Presidential Library, at the public release of a total of 2,500 daily briefs and intelligence checklists from the John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson presidencies.[14][15] The release was a reversal of the government's previous stance in legal briefs attempting to keep the PDB indefinitely classified.[16] On August 24, 2016, CIA released a further 2,500 briefs from the Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford presidencies at a symposium held at the Nixon Presidential Library.
