After seven seasons, ABCs Scandal has finally aired its last episode. Over the course of 124 episodes, the Shonda Rhimes-produced series has pretty much covered every aspect of the liberal agenda. However, as the finale proves, theres always time to squeeze in a little more, especially when it comes to knocking white male privilege and promoting gun control. I guess its better to go out with an insufferable bang than with an annoying whimper.
The April 19 finale Over a Cliff has the Gladiators facing the threat of life in prison after Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) revealed the existence of B613, a secret CIA-type organization that has been quietly and brutally running the government behind the scenes for decades.
Olivias father Rowan (Joe Morton) testifies before the Congressional committee about his own leadership role in B613. While he may have done terrible things in the past, he acknowledges the real perpetrators were, of course, white men.

Hmmm. So, sci-fi? Comedy central? Guess a lot of us are out of the loop huh. Probably because we're to busy using our WP and fomenting racism. Or something.

Roughly 12% of the US populace is Black.
Youd think it was at least 92.75%.

I TRIED to watch this once......when I clicked on the station and Scandal came up on the TV, I was treated to two men talking after having had sex. I thought NOPE, dont need to see any of this on my TV. I cannot understand why anyone would watch Shonda Rimes shows anymore. Greys Anatomy was good for the first few seasons, but not anymore.

And the gay population is about 3%, but you would think it was at least 25%.

Not to mention the % of “gay” (not ‘happy’ folks) is apparently nearly the same since they obviously control so much of the economy that YUGE corporations tremble in fear of them.

Im proud to say I have never watched a single episode. The only things I know about this show come from Rush talking about it (e.g. the heroine undergoing an abortion while Silent Night plays...). The creator Shonda Rhimes, also responsible for Grey's Anatomy and other shows, is totally SJW.

Just for the record......
If you want very good non political TV, find the Britbox and Acorn streaming channels. Both have very good British, Australian and even New Zealand TV that present American values far better than any American network.

Rowan: Well...uh...all of...you. The ones in charge. The masters of the universe. White men whose complacency, whose privilege left this country, this republic in a state of neglect. You are all children who did not appreciate their toys, who left them out in the rain to molder, to decay. I was not born with your privilege. I was taught to respect the things that I had, to care for them, to nurture them, which I have done for the past 30 years.Neither have watched or heard of scandal. Pretty blatant with the anti-whitey though.

Naw, he uses an “y” instead of a “i” in his thug de plume.

How about easing off on the black “power” and moving towards CONTENT OF CHARACTER?

I watched about 15 minutes of the first episode when it aired and changed the channel.
It reeked of agenda and ‘narrative’.

Yeah, maybe, a little. But some of the Acorn-Australian shows are heavy on gay and muslim issues, from the “progressive” viewpoint. The Marta Dusseldorp shows come to mind.
