While discussing Barbara Bushs legacy on Tuesday evening, CNNs Anderson Cooper and Jeffrey Toobin could not resist using the opportunity to slam President Donald Trump. After news broke of Barbara Bushs passing, Toobin rattled off the list of adjectives associated with the former First Ladypublic-service oriented, the honesty, decencyand asked, what about the contrast to our current president?
I mean this family, whatever else you think of the Bushes, were a family that was wall-to-wall decent good to people considerate of others, Toobin said. And Im sorry, I just keep thinking of Donald Trump in the White House who has none of the qualities that the Bushes have. Its just a sign of how different this country is now than it was not that many years ago.
Barbara Bush was critical of Trump during the 2016 election cycle, saying she did not understand how women could vote for Trump. She also said that she was sick of him and didnt waste time thinking about Trump.

CNN has its right to have these clowns on, hey Anderson YOU want to compare. Trumps moral and ethical standards fine. Turn a blind eye to Hillary’s moral and ethical standards. How ethical was it for CNN to provide Hillary with questions before a debate??? Collusion.
Democrats = hypocrites
When do they NOT bash Trump?
It doesnt take much for Cnn. Just the fact that he breathes is enough for them.
Comes from the same people who hated the Bushes to the core.
Now they’re praising them to the skies.
Its always about political talking points with these people - whatever gets the job done.
Life will always be a Paul Wellstone Memorial Rally for them.
I believe Jimmy Carter also may be a very strongly moral person. But he was a lousy president. Ben Carson may be a great surgeon, but I would have hated to see what he would have done as president.
I always thought it ridiculous that liberals hated the Bushes while so many conservatives loved them. It should have always been the other way around, so the current Bush lovefest from the liberal media makes perfect sense. The election of Donald Trump simply re-aligned people’s political sympathies the right way when they looked past party affiliation and saw policies and statements at face value.
And globalists more concerned about establishing a 'New World Order' and protecting their personal profits from Saudi Arabia than pursuing justice for the American people...among other things.
They are hypocrites. They hated Barbara Bush when she was first lady. They only like her a little now, because the Bushes have criticized Trump.
Just ten years ago they were deriding GW as Bushitler and a chimp.
Today, they consider him a decent person - without ever offering an apology for their slander and down to earth hate.
How the worm turns.
CNN is only saying what the Bushes say every day. She also had a lot bad to say about Sarah Palin. But not w word about the Clintons.
Yup.
Its the classic Two Minute Hate. Back then it used to be Bush.
Today, its Trump. Tomorrow, it will be some future Republican President.
These people are predictable. You know what they say even before they say it.
I mean this family, whatever else you think of the Bushes, were a family that was wall-to-wall decent good to people."
These are the very same hypocritical fatherless scum who spent 8 years viciously trashing President G. W. Bush and his entire family.
Now they climb on the still warm carcass of his mother to turn her death into a political event and trash the sitting president.
And both viewers believed every word.
Liberals are the festering carbuncles on the ass of civil society.............
Considering their target audience, its not like they deal in the truth.
Being on a fake news network means never having to look at what the party line is doing to you and your business.
That’s all Trump’s fault.
CNN only says good things about the Bush women because they were liberals who supported abortion and queer marriage,
I was switching around to the different cable news channels just to see the contrast in the coverage of Barbara Bush’s passing. MSNBC was the worst. They basically mentioned that Mrs. Bush had passed away, then used it as a pretext to compare her to the Republican women of today, and what horrible people they are.
Between CNN and MSNBC they cater to the same Trump-hating fringe.
Its not like they represent anywhere close to majority opinion in this country.
The guests they bring on reinforce their talking points about Trump and Republicans.
They are not in the “balance” business.
Jeffrey Toobin: Class act, or mendacious moral midget?

Harvard Law Unbound
Jeffrey Toobin, 2013 Class Day Speaker, Harvard Law School
1. In 1986 Toobin took The Oath, marrying fellow Harvard student Amy McIntosh and promising to be faithful to her. They have two teenage children.
2. It did not take long for Toobin who has been called The Tiger Woods of Legal Journalism because he shares Tigers weakness for women and wandering eye to break that oath.
3. By the mid-1990s, Toobin was aggressively hitting on women, using disgusting, shockingly sexual come-on lines.According to one of the women (apparently book editor and publisher Judith Regan), Toobin tried to force his way into her hotel room, telling her, You know you want it, and he left several sick messages on her voicemail. Apparently Toobin enjoys New York sex clubs, and multiple women have reported on his sexual fetishes: Toobin is into anal sex and fisting, and has a bit of what could be deemed an anal fixation.’
4. Around 2000 Toobin began an adulterous relationship with a woman 13 years his junior, Yale lawyer Casey Greenfield (above), the daughter of Toobins former CNN colleague, Jeff Greenfield. Toobins on-and-off affair with Casey lasted nearly a decade. Eventually Toobin told Casey he was going to leave his wife for her, but by then she had begun to distrust him, suspecting he had several other mistresses.
5. Apparently the seven years Toobin spent at Harvard honing his mind were insufficient to enable him to master contraception techniques, and in 2008 Toobin got Casey pregnant. Toobin, a staunch supporter of a womans right to choose in general, was less supportive of a womans right to choose in particular. He told Casey hed pay for her to swap babies (aborting his baby and having another child later via a sperm donor) and that if she didnt have an abortion shed regret it, that she shouldnt expect any help from him.
6. When Casey decided to keep the baby, Toobin stopped talking to her. When it was born in March, 2009, Casey e-mailed Toobin inviting him to meet his son, Rory, but Toobin didnt reply.
7. Rather than resolve his financial responsibilities toward Casey and Rory discreetly, thereby avoiding publicity about his adultery and embarrassment for his wife and teenage children, Toobin allowed the matter to become public. He refused to communicate with Casey, forcing her to file a lawsuit against him which took two years to litigate, leading to massive publicity in the legal field via Above the Law, and in the general press via Gawker , the New York Daily News, and eventually the New York Times, in articles that explored Toobins long-running infidelity and his sexual fetishes, as sketched above. Even after being ordered by a court to pay child support, Toobin failed to live up to his obligations until Caseys lawyers threatened to notify his employers and garnish his wages.
8. In his Class Day speech, despite his extensive background in the area, presumably Toobin will not delve into the sex lives of overachievers, a topic already referenced on Class Day (by Samantha Power three years ago). More likely, if past is prologue, Toobin will reference his close friendship during law school with former Dean, and current Justice, Elena Kagan (knowing that decorum bars her from revealing she barely remembers this name-dropping, mendacious moral midget).
Time to get Anderson Stooper off the air!
