One of the black men who was racially profiled by a Starbucks manager has received the full backing and support from his national fraternity.
Rashon Nelson is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's Alpha Eta chapter and graduated from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania in 2017.
The finance major and member of the historically black fraternity was waiting -with his business partner - on a colleague in the Center City Philadelphia location when manager Holly Hylton called police.
Following the initial national coverage, members of Omega Psi Phi - one of the 'Divine Nine' historic black Greek organizations - took to social media to share their support for one of their brothers. 'The times that we are living in continue to unveil the bold and dark side of racism through the lens of ready cameras of witnesses that record the injustices that are reported daily,' said Antonio F. Knox Sr., the Grand Basileus of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, before calling Nelson is a 'remarkable example of resilient courage in the face of undeserved fire.'

Weird name.
Speaking as a life long Southerner, let me take this opportunity to point out the evil racism of these nasty Yankees!
that finance degree will come in handy when Starbucks settles with him.
Why is this even a story? Are they suggesting that any other color person who was loitering in their business would not have received similar treatment? If anyone overreacted perhaps it was the cops who obviously acted stupidly.
No, that is not the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania.
Hah! He's part of a racist organization!
In it for the $$$$$$.
Yep. Racists these days are bold and dark.
I invite every Whitey to come to my city, and experience the wonderful beauty of Philly Blackness.
Does the Starbucks Manager belong to any Race Exclusionary groups???
Sure. The left isn’t going to let this drop until they totally destroy this women and a few thousand cars are burned, and a few hundred bricks thrown by the race pimps.
How long before Starbucks donates 10 million to Black scholarships or some other act of penance?
Message to all non-Whites: you can go sit in Starbucks all day and not buy anything. No one will kick you out.

Easy solution we will wait outside until our friend comes. I would have been happy to do that. Space is limited and folks just cant sit around anywhere anytime time. This is now a federal case so much anguish that defies common sense. This crap blown way out of proportion.
If the media were doing their job they would be looking for the connections between the 'actors' (double meaning).
Starbucks is a soft target.
They're a national brand that foolishly championed the race issue and they're easily triggered and intimidated.
An ironic twist in this racially-baited story, I’m pretty sure this fraternity ‘brands’ the Omega on its brothers.
I’d like to research this gal who called police. Wonder if it’s one big set up.

His finance degree apparently did not help him to understand the concept of a for-profit business not allowing non-purchasing loiterers to use its bathrooms and occupy its customer tables freely. As I keep wondering, why didn’t these two clowns just buy something and end the whole argument?
On dozens of occasions I have met potential clients at Starbucks as if is a place I feel safe meeting these people for the first time.
Each and every time, I wait for the potential client to arrive before I order.
Sometimes I buy something, other times I do not, but I have never been asked to leave.
It could be that Starbucks has a corporate policy to ask people that are waiting for friends or associates to vacate the premises. However, I have never seen that done.
Unless, of course, they're perpetually offended professional negroes with giant chips on their shoulders.
