The Pentagon confirmed later that the airstrikes, conducted along with French and UK forces, targeted chemical weapons facilities in Syria.

The White House released its assessment of the attacks late Friday evening, not long after Trump announced the military action.

President Donald Trump on Friday night announced targeted strikes on Syria to retaliate against a suspected chemical-weapons attack on a rebel-held town nearly a week ago.

You’ve been a sh** stirring idiot for years. You continue your tradition.

So you think what I posted is a lie, or you just don't like that I posted it?

Sometimes shit needs to be stirred up.

I looked but didn’t find it on the White House web site.

It looks like no one other than CNBC has published it.

No links to an official document out of the White House.

As far as I can tell, somebody at CNBC could have made this "official document" up as they sat on the crapper.

Here you go, FWIW

Here’s my key takeaway on this: had this assessment come out of the Obama Administration, would you have believed it?

(Consider that the same bureaucrats who worked in the Obama Administration also work in the Trump Administration)

It's too simplistic. Russia doesn't support Christians except by accident since Assad supports them. The US doesn't support ISIS except for McCain, Obama and a couple other exceptions. If we wanted to, we could have taken out Assad. But we definitely want him in there, but under reasonable control.

Rand must be devastated at this news. I expect we’ll get another 10 tweets about Syria from him. What’s interesting is that Syria and the omnibus garbage bill get him far more excited than Mueller’s coup. We’re lucky to get one comment in passing from him about the treasonous attacks on POTUS.

If Assad thought it would benefit his regime, he would slit the throats of every Christian in Syria. He is using them just like he is using every minority group in Syria to bolster his regime. He has no morals and will do whatever it takes to stay in power and survive.

I would only add to that.......Assad will retain power ONLY if Iran wants him in power, without Iran he cannot hold onto power alone.

“Our Intel” is designed to enable war.

Always has been.

It was debunked before the attack.

No one holds power long without approval of the global cabal.

That is what Trump is up against. It may be the basis of our attack.

Thank you, markomalley, I couldn't find anything, earlier, beyond the CNBC and RT reports.

About the assessment?

I would "hope" that there is more information that Trump received, that is NOT included in this assessment. Preferably that some of our people (that aren't supposed to be there) verified the gas attack, and where it came from. I would also like to think France and Britain wouldn't have joined in the strike unless they had "concrete" evidence...... or they felt their own countries were in danger.

Either way, it's done now.....and we'll just have to wait to see if there are repercussions.

It wasn’t debunked. If it was post objective, conclusive, primary source data.

Wait until you see what our al Nusra “friends” do to Syrian Christians.

Not sure what you mean by “our” friends. I don’t think al Nusra would want to be “my” friend if they knew about the time I spent in Afghanistan. How about you?

“If it kept Comey (talking about Trump and prostitutes peeing on each other) off the news, it was worth it.”

So bombing a sovereign foreign country (and which combats ISIS, Al Qaeda and Al Nusra in case you forgot) just to keep a slimeball traitor off the news is ok for you? How any sicker could it be?

Our allies in Syria. The people we are supporting. John McCain's pals. Only we don't call them "al Nusra." It's not really good for American consumption. We've renamed them the "Free Syrian Army" or "moderate Syrian rebels."

Doesn't change the fact that they're Islamist militants and we've thrown our lot in with them.

“Sovereign foreign country” Get real, Syria is owned by Iran, both have been involved in terrorist activities for decades. What legitimacy has the alawite clan scum the Bashars have? They are tyrannical butchers. They should have been wiped out long ago. Who cares if they’re people support a butcher? They’d be WRONG. They are supporting evil; they can wait their turn in line for the big boom if up to the challenge.

We along with our allies are involved in secret wars, aggressive actions all over the world, boats get nabbed going from one country to another; scientists working on programs get blown up. Peace just doesn’t happen. We live in an evil world, this is reality. Half you people posting on here have no clue what you’re talking about. So it made some headlines, missile strike. Big whoop. There’s activities going on you have no clue of and the agenda is freedom.
