The Democarps and news media have been attacking Trump because he wouldn't retaliate against Syria for them crossing one of Trump's 'red lines' while Trump heavily criticized Obama for wimping out when it came to his own red lines...

They also attacked Trump claiming no retaliation against Syria would have detrimental consequences while trying to convince Rocketman that we mean business if he doesn't do what we say...

And of course the same bunch declared that if Trump went ahead with an attack, he was not only trying to start WWIII but Putin would counter with devastating force and do great harm to America, putting us all in dire straits...

Those of you who are now badmouthing Trump KNEW he would defend any red lines he drew in Syria...And now you're whining about it??? No Americans went into Syria...There was no escalation of war with Syria...

So Trump did show the Democriminals, the news media, the Rhinos and never-Trumpers, the Nork leader, Syria, Russia and Iran that he is true to his word...Trump broadcasted well ahead of time his intention to only go after sites that were involved in chemical weapon creation or delivery...

Trump did not destroy Syria, attack any Russians but was able to show resolve and a large show of force so no one would doubt his resolve...The mission was a success on all fronts...

During desert storm and numerous other attacks the media was on scene when the attacks occurred .Not this time.

Funny. Watching OAN right now and they have reporters all over Syria with vids of attack and reporters reporting attack.

Also, Desert Storm and Operation Freedom the media was embedded with the infantry. Kind of hard to embed a reporter on a tomahawk or bunker buster. I could think of a couple media whores that I would like to see strapped to one of these ordinance but I think it will never happen.

Ain't that the truth. 'Splodey heads all over the forum tonight. It's downright embarrassing.

Never took you for a neocon and more of a protect the home front type of guy.

Bolton was not even moved into his office and this happens is just too convenient for me. Also, the announcement that President Trump made that we were pulling out then the attack is also just too suspect.

Just too much feel of a false flag op for me to buy the pudding where the proof is.

As usual, only the UK and France, are tried and true allies.

was a single airstrike, conducted alongside two of our closest allies.””

Actually, France and the U.K. are often our only allies. Can you name any others that actually fight with us?

Syria accepted all the WMDs moved out of Iraq during the Bush administration.

action is pointless, unless it is a “one and done” to keep the neocons and liberals off Trump’s back. Assad is not a good guy, but Isis and other radical Islamic terrorists are the real threat to the Western nations. “”

All Muslims are potential threats to the West. How many mass murderers in the US have been ISIS members? Was Obama an Isis member?

What a ridiculous assertion? When a people fight by your side and die with you, put themselves at risk of death with you, those are our allies. We don’t have any others at this time. Australia and S. Korea are about it if this ramps up, which it won’t.

We’ve either been invaded by DU refugees or a band of regular Freepers who have succumbed to brainwashing.””

There are lots of leftists trolls here. Mostly, they serve to divide the opposition to the rat party by declaring all republicans are equivalent to rats.

“Stupid” is half the base abandoning the only chance we have of preserving the Republic (Trump) in favor of what-ever rat bastard, God and America hating, domestic enemy the rats put up next. Everybody needs to get a grip and understand the macro, which is survival of the Republic.

My opinion...If the rebels had done this, they would not hit civilians...They’d go after Syrian military...

If Assad did this, he did it for the purpose of keeping people under his thumb...He’d be following along the lines of many other dictators we have seen all around the world...

The omnibus bill is not a budget, and Trump can spend as little as he wants to. Wait and see what he actually spends, not what Congress suggested he spend.

Nonsense. If they wanted to false-flag scam the US into intervening, they would have to have civilian victims, not Syrian army victims.

Only if the Assad / Iran / Hezbollah / Russia coalition needs for Assad to use chem weapons to win have we “intervened” with this action.

Isis is the enemy of the Syrian regime. They are the main terrorist threat to the U.S
and the Western democracies. I see the difference between the authoritarian nationalists like Assad and the Islamic terrorists as similar to the difference between socialists and Communists. We waged a cold war against the Soviets. not the Swedes.

Answer the two questions please.

Never took you for a neocon and more of a protect the home front type of guy.

Wow. Smooth way to backhand a fella.

That word 'neocon' never made much sense to me, but I know most people use it to mean 'warmonger'. Well, that's not me. Not by a long shot.

I'm one of those who wants our people out of most far flung duty stations and conflicts around the world.

At the same time, I know that there are times when our country should use military force to suppress a clear and present threat to our allies, or humanity as a whole.

Our leaders don't always get it right. Too often, they get it catastrophically wrong. Even when the cause is just, our bureaucrats and politicians can turn such adventures into complete disasters.

That said, I trust President Trump, and do not believe he will commit us to yet another military misadventure..

Are you referring to the UK?

The same UK who refuses to allow conservatives and even some nuns from entering the country. At the same time, former ISIS fighters and Muslim hate preachers are welcomed with open arms and are financially supported by the government.

Even President Trump is not welcome in the UK.

The UK was also responsible for the Christopher Steele dossier and they worked hard to get Hitlery elected. Allies? I think not.

France has always been untrustworthy. Macron is a Globalist who worked for a Rothschild bank. He can’t be trusted.

I still can’t figure out why France was so determined to be involved in this mess. Usually they run from military conflict. I have no idea what Macron’s motives are.

IMO, the Central and Eastern European countries are much better allies. Hungary, Poland, the Baltics, etc. Those nations are the future of Europe.

Sometimes, actions in war speak far louder than words on the sidelines.

I watched FoxNews from 8:00 PM eastern Time until 11:00 PM Eastern and there was NO live video of any of the attacks in Syria.

What matters is the media knew nothing of the attack or they would have had cameras and their talking heads planted all over Syria to cover the event.
