Ah yes. We won in Syria? How?? Why are we in Syria, when did they threaten our country or people, until we invaded them. Then they demanded that our people leave. As a sovereign nation, that was probably reasonable.

Breathe.

It was a single airstrike, conducted alongside two of our closest allies.

Trump is not pushing us into a ground war with Syria.

We’re already in syria..Trump wants us out...the strike tonight did not get us there or expand our prescence.

So you are convinced that missing off half the base is a “brilliant move”.

That’s why they call it the stupid party.

Right after he goes after the Cookie Monster. Then maybe the Lock Ness Monster, of course he would need permission from Scotland, they are a sovereign nation of something...

There is no lack of pot meet kettle in any of this....

The only people Trump got upset tonight...don’t understand the difference between a strategic strike and a massive invasion.

You would’ve been upset with the early settlers going west

We send a few thousand National Guardsmen to our southern border in a Bush-style ineffective measure, yet we can get involved in a battle that supports the side (Isis) that was responsible for the destruction of the World Trade Center 17 years ago against an authoritarian, nationalist regime which is not involved in radical Muslim terrorism and which does not persecute Christians.

America, Britain, and France, the three powers involved in the attack, cannot or will not protect their countries from Third World invasion. Britain and France prosecute those citizens who speak out against Islamic extremism. Britain prosecutes those who protect themselves against terrorism or even street crime.

You will be the one whose head splodes when you see how much of the presidents support just left him.

Un-clutch your pearls, and breathe.

It was one airstrike, not a full scale ground invasion. Trump's real supporters aren't going to turn their backs on him over this.

On the other hand, I fully expect RINOs, NeverTrumpers, and weak kneed squish Republicans to side with the liberal left in condemning him.

It's the stealth NeverTrump brigade coming out in force tonight.

This place will probably stink of ozone by tomorrow.

For the first time in years/decades the press did a great job with their honest questioning.

Why would Rinos and Never Trumpers be upset about getting their way?

This action is pointless, unless it is a “one and done” to keep the neocons and liberals off Trump's back. Assad is not a good guy, but Isis and other radical Islamic terrorists are the real threat to the Western nations.

During his fourteen months in office, Trump has not let me down, but one time, and that was his signing of the last omnibus bill.

But for that one thing, he’s already got a better track record than any president in my 60+ years. In short, i trust him to make the best choices available to him in tough situations.

I knew going in, that he would do some things that would irritate the hell out of me. This is not one of them. As long as this doesn’t escalate into a ground war, he’s got my full support.
