On Monday, the FBI raided offices of Michael Cohen, Esq. to get the lawyers records, all his client records, business records, memos to the file, etc.
what happened yesterday is appalling. As working lawyers, most of us have within our files our own memos dealing with information on the private lives of husbands, wives, messy family disputes, with all kinds of claims and cross claims, in criminal; cases of defendants (guilty and innocent), corporate people (naughty and nice), etc. Everyone has a right to counsel and to exercise their attorney-client privilege, and everyone has a right to be honestly and ethically defended without being concerned for the violation of their attorney-client privilege.
The copout seems to be that other federal investigators go through the files primarily creating a wall and then give only those relevant materials to their colleagues, who undoubtedly they will then have lunch with.... Let us not suspend common sense.
Nobody elected any of these prosecutors...should a handful of prosecutors be allowed to override the will of the people? Do we want a bunch of prosecutors running our country? That did not seem to work in the Salem Witch trials, the McCarthyism inquisitions nor for Mr. Robespierre.
And all of these draconian actions of investigators are for what? Chasing after adults who had a consensual relationship and his lawyer who is also his friend for writing a check. The only assault on our democracy seems to be from a by now desperate special counsel chasing vague shadows who should be gone. It is a disgrace, and, by the way, I am a registered independent and am a former federal prosecutor.

Did Sessions recuse himself from the 4th amendment? If not he should seize all the records, return them to Cohen and fire Rosenstein, Mueller and the US attorney for the Southern District.
This is a disgrace.
They are stomping all over Constitutional rights.
I object to the use of the term McCathyism, though, because Joe was right.
We need to start a chart:
What Would Sessions do on all of these issues/events if he were AG?
Youre assuming Sessions still has a pair of balls. Hes long since been neutered and is now quite docile and compliant to direction from the Deep State DOJers.
My advice? You and your legal buddies had better figure out some way to help fight this.......because I can promise you, if these mobsters aren't stopped, they will come after you, too, should you become an obstacle to their political desires.
The See BS Evening “News” claimed that Cohen said the FBI agents were polite and respectful and that Cohen thanked them afterwards.
See BS expects us to believe that bullcrap?
Any lawyer who looks at those files should be disbarred.
It is an act of desperation. Disrespecting lawyer client privilege in the judicial world is like eating a hamburger in India.
Trump just needs to play it cool and not take the bait. They are digging their own graves.
It’s akin to #gestapo tactics. Go to youtube and watch #SophieScholl to see how that turns out for everybody in the end.
“It is an act of desperation.”
How so? Mueller has the backing of the corrupt state, both parties, corrupt courts and the fakestream media. Unlimited time and budget, too.
This a COUP under the guise of law. He will not stop until he is stopped.
“Did Sessions recuse himself from the 4th amendment?”
Did the judge? I haver yet to see the name of the federal judge that approved this warrant....
Let the light of truth shame this person from the bench.
Truly a sad day when all faith, hope and trust in your government is gone.
Absolutely..correct!!
In a just world the prosecutors would already be in cuffs.
I just posted an idea, on another thread, that this action would be the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back.
I can foresee the almost universal condemnation of such tactics.
Mr. Mueller has lost what little respect he may have had concerning integrity.
Sad to think, but perhaps the only way of ending the deep state dictatorship is with a new American Revolution, if not an outright Civil War, to restore our Constitutional republic. Such a revolution would be violent and could involve US military forces loyal to their oath to defend the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic. Revolutions are bloody things and I could see military tribunals, trials for treason and a large number of the deep state being executed for their treason.
It’s very scary. If a man with 10- 15 billion dollars cannot payoff his paramour and porn star, a man who is president of the USA, a man leading the Evangelical wing of Christianity, then what does it mean for the rule of law and the sanctity of marriage?
You are wrong. Almost all attorneys are leftists and to leftists the end justifies the means. Plus they know this will NEVER be done to one of them.
