Review the Chris Rock video on “How not to get your ass beat by the police”:

Never drive with a crazy woman in the car: “He got weed! He got weed!”

So, lesson here. Inform yourself of local gun laws before venturing far away from home. Youngsters in “love” sometimes are distracted. Probably not a good idea for him to try to replace the .45 when he gets out(unless somehow he gets his rights restored). Replace the girl? Yeah.

I dream of the day that I can carry my weapons from state to state, city to city and be legal and not have to worry about some sick law that would put me in jail. Maybe under Trump that will finally happen.

Never date a leftist.

Especially one who lives in Brooklyn.

If a gal reminds you of anyone you ever saw on Maury Povich or similar show don’t date her.

Poor guy. He’s going to be popular in jail.

This poor guy. First the naked unstable girl. Then this.

This is an abomination. I think that is why the states should have no say in this. People should have the right everywhere in the union, without having to worry about this.

I normally only associate Brooklyn with “Yankee” but I guess in this instance she was a “Damn Yankee”.

Lots of people in this thread blaming the guy.

We all make mistakes.

It’s the STATE’S FAULT that he is going to jail. This isn’t right, that whole stupid, damned state and all of it’s residents (Yeah, come at me bro) are to blame.

Every state in the NE is just terrible. And the people like to blame everything else but it’s them that let this happen.

I worked in CT during the gubernatorial run that got Malloy in. I helped as much as I could. But there is just nothing good there. Let it go.

It’s the home of the “’but’ conservatives” who all claim to be right-wing and pro-freedom .... BUT ..... There is always something that leans them leftward.

Just blot out those stars on your flags. They aren’t America anymore.

I know the laws of my state (and every state bordering my state, with regards to non-resident carry, possession, etc). When I don’t know, I assume “illegal”. I can’t i.agine waltzing into NY of all places without the gun situation crossing my mind.

He plea bargained down to two years in prison and felony charge that takes away even more of his rights, and all for essentially a the victimless crime of having a crappy Highpoint handgun in his car for the intent of personal protection (a Constitutional right).

If you travel to another country, like New York, you HAVE to obey their laws. Until New York returns to the United States, and the Constitution, it must be treated as a hostile regime, and in rebellion.

Another point: Don't sleep with anyone crazier than you. Leftists qualify as screaming batsh!t crazy.

Once again, the US Constitution (Bill of Rights) needs to apply equally to all citizens in all states, even in DC. Unless and until it does, the divide will continue to be used to degrade the freedom and liberty that the Constitution itself was meant to guarantee. A divided house will not stand. Maybe Congress should pass an act that restores the original, as written US Constitution. It could be covered with one or two sentences.
