Laura Ingraham’s return to Fox News tonight doesn’t mark the end of her bad news: Allstate insurance has quietly dropped Ingraham’s show, telling employees in an internal memo that her comments about Parkland student David Hogg were “inconsistent” with company values.
Ingraham is expected back on the air tonight after a vacation she announced amid the fallout over her comments. In a March 31 memo, obtained by TheWrap, Allstate said it severed ties with Ingraham’s show on Wednesday, March 28. That was the day Ingraham posted a tweet accusing Hogg of “whining” that he didn’t get into several colleges. Allstate is at least the 20th advertiser to drop Ingraham.
“Laura Ingraham’s comments about David Hogg were inconsistent with our values,” the memo read. “Allstate believes in youth empowerment and last year helped 5 million youth find their voices and take action to make the world better. We have not advertised on ‘The Ingraham Angle’ since Wednesday. We hope our youth can help us find a path to a less divisive future.”
A spokeswoman for the company would not confirm the memo’s authenticity, only saying: “We’ve taken note of your concern.”
When asked if the company had any future ads scheduled to appear on the show, the spokeswoman said: “I cannot answer that question.”

Allstate sucks. I’m a USAA guy but I have had to deal with the Allstate claims people numerous times on other matters. Dickheads.
I don’t have Allstate insurance.
But if I did I would drop them today.

I already tune into her shows regularly. Her Radio and Fox nightly shows both. Now I will ensure I do without fail. Plus going to ensure a setup of nightly DVR for her too. Hopefully, every FReeper who can will do the same. This is a very important time to show our support.

Apparently Davy Hogg’s statements are consistent with Allstate’s “values”.
My life and business is involved with property claims. If you have have allstate or american family. May God help you. There is a reason they lobby so much.
Good. Now Ingraham doesn’t need to suck up to crony capitalist statists.
She should remember - she became popular because she was eloquent and spoke the truth, not because she sucked up to PC businessmen.

In 2015, an effin' idiot hit our brand-new car. Fortunately we have a really excellent auto body shop nearby. They are real pros, and deal with a lot of insurance companies for auto claims. They told me - hands down - Allstate is the #1 absolute WORST company to deal with, and they don't always pay claims that other companies readily pay.
A family member works in a law office in Rhode Island... She says the same thing - Allstate is the absolute WORST insurance company her office deals with.

Yes, Laura Ingraham will be back on FNC tonight. She was on a pre-planned Easter Week vacation with her 3 kids last week.
Stay FAR away from Progressive! Owned by a far lefty. Hence the “Progressive” name.
The thing is, almost any company in any industry is going to be tainted somewhat, there’s little escape.
