I think we should repeal the abortion amendment to the Constitution. ... Oh wait a minute The way to do that would have been to push the ObamaCare against Roe v. Wade; because in Roe the USSC said that the prohibition against abortions were invalid because the information between doctor and patient [particularly medical records] was protected from the government, yet ObamaCare makes government access to medical records mandatory — sadly, w/o the mandate in place the courts would likely toss it out because ObamaCare isn't mandatory
or similar [poor] reasoning.

Without the second amendment none of the others are enforceable against an out-of-control government. Take away the second and you can (eventually) kiss the others goodbye.

OK, 2A gets repealed. Who confiscates? The amendment may go, but the right remains. The amendment only recognizes the right. If it goes, the shooting MUST start, a merciless slaughter of those who removed it.

If we want to stop gun violence we should do what the Swiss do - requires ALL adults to be trained in gun safety AND to own a gun they keep in their home.
Let’s debate the issue of forced gun ownership...

If EVERY citizen was trained in gun safety and required to own a gun these problems would disappear ... let’s follow the Swiss system. It works.

“We will do that just as soon as we take back the vote from women.”
The irony there is that without women voting, liberals and Leftists (NOT the same thing) wouldn’t stand a chance in elections, and something like what this harridan posted wouldn’t ever be considered. So, YES, I wouldn’t mind repealing THAT Amendment (as unfair as it would be to women who think in a logical, moral way).
BTW, if people who own firearms cannot see what the Dems have ALWAYS been in favor of based on statements like this, then they are blind. Gun owners need to show up at the polls in MASSIVE numbers, and help the Dems go down in flames...then begin working on getting rid of the anti-gun and luke-warm on guns Republicans.

If you want a model of how to pass an amendment, just look to the ERA amendment.
Oh, wait, that didn't work out, did it? Introduced in 1921, still not passed...

“This, however, is an unequivocal admission that the democrats, as a political party, want to take away our guns.”
It certainly will be if she isn’t fired, or if she isn’t forced to issue a retraction. Me, if I were the head of that party, would fire her - even if I agreed with her - simply because lifting the veil on this will be a disaster for the Dems.

“Make no mistake America, the socialist/fascist democrats most definitely want to disarm you to better control you and force their will upon you.”
Look how they treat us when we’re armed to the teeth.
Now consider what they’d do to us if we were disarmed.

Look at the way the Left treats anyone to their Right nowadays. Listen to the things they say about those who vote differently. Notice the things they do to those with the temerity to openly disagree with their plans.
Now, imagine if all the people the Left despises were completely disarmed.
Would those on the Left then become nicer towards their opposition?
To: rktman
Great let the DNC make repealing the Second Amendment a plank in their platform...see how far that gets them

Yep, it’s time to expand the Second Amendment - all citizens should be members of ‘the militia’....
