Saudi Crown Prince: Iran's Supreme Leader 'Makes Hitler Look Good'
the atlantic ^ | 4/2/2018 | jeffrey goldberg

In a wide-ranging conversation, Prince Mohammed bin Salman also recognized the Jewish peoples’ right to “their own land.”

This much, at least, can be said for Mohammed bin Salman, the putatively reformist crown prince of Saudi Arabia: He has made all the right enemies. Among those who would celebrate his end are the leaders of ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, and Hamas, as well as Yemen’s Houthi rebels, and the entire clerical and military leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran. As a bonus, there are members of his own family, the sprawling, sclerotic, self-dealing House of Saud, who would like to see him gone—or at the very least, warehoused at the Ritz-Carlton in Riyadh, where the 32-year-old prince recently imprisoned many of his enemies and cousins during an anti-corruption sweep of the kingdom.

The well-protected Prince Mohammed does not seem particularly worried about mortal threats, however. He was jovial to the point of ebullience when I met him at his brother’s compound outside Washington (his brother, Prince Khalid bin Salman, is the Saudi ambassador to the U.S.). Prince Mohammed (who is known widely by his initials, MbS) seemed eager to download his heterodoxical, contentious views on a number of subjects—on women’s rights (he appears doubtful about the laws that force Saudi women to travel with male relatives);

and just like several MAJOR American (and British) corporations, with the permission or connivance of their governments, helped finance, idustrialize and weaponize the Nazis,
Obama and EU have financed, industrialized, and weaponized the IslamoNazis of Iran

verily, there’s very little genuninely new under the sun (Solomon)... and I fear.. we are destined to live through Nazi warfare again since we have not learned from it the last time (Santayana)

If you are ever going to see reform in Saudi Arabia, this is what it looks like.

Tiny baby steps, by our standards, but met with massive resistance at many turns.

Calling the religious despot of Iran someone who “makes Hitler look good” is probably not far off the mark. But then, Sunni and Shi’a are ideologies in deadly competition with each other. In the end, there can only be one.

Even if you and I could not tell the difference.

Quick, let’s get lots of Americans over there to die in a “police action” which kinda sorts hurts Iran a little, so as to let the good Prince know we are on his side.

“” “” If you are ever going to see reform in Saudi Arabia, this is what it looks like.

LOL. For some reason no one are so kind towards some parts of Eastern Europe which are trying to part with socialism. They are the enemies who are to be toppled and destroyed for allegedly doing it too slow.

” “” “Calling the religious despot of Iran someone who “makes Hitler look good” is probably not far off the mark.” “” “

Yep, the pot has just deserved a standing ovation for calling the kettle black. /s

” “” “That’s changing and fast. MbS recently said women there don’t have to wear that bedsheet thing anymore.” “” “”

I am now a bit confused. Saddam, Gaddafy, Assad, Mubarak not only said women there don’t have to wear bedsheets but also implemented policies allowing them not to. They have also punished people who violently opposed such policies.
It has resulted in wrath of ‘communities’ who believed their ways are insult to Islam or let’s say ‘oppressing religious freedom’ as neocons put it.
All of them deserved their death and their nations destroyed over removing the veil and other ‘attacks on civil rights and religious freedoms’ but for some reason this Saudi is given a pass.
If it is not a double standard what is it?

Right.
Hitler set half the world on fire and caused ~100 million deaths.
Even the Iranian idiots have a ways to go to reach that bar.

The Ayatollahs in Iran are actually waiting for MBS to come to power. They are gleefully anticipating it

When MBS comes to power, the entire house of Saud cards fall into civil war.

The Iranian clerics think they will then strike

But what those fools don't realize is that the Iranian people do not want to fight Israel or Saudia - they want their economy to grow and want less, far less Izlam (there is a movement to reject Izlam) - once the threat of Saudia goes, there is less raison d'etre for the Irani clerics to remain in power - expect a domino effect
