But the kid WAS correct. The 2A has no restrictions.

Plenty of legislative restrictions have been passed. But 2A itself has none.

illustrates the basic flaw in the thinking of idiot children. The “restriction” is on government— like Most of the Constitution. but no one explains to these idiots that the idea of the Constitution is to limit government power to those powers expressly enumerated.

Also relevant is that the 10th Amendment is absolute when there is no delegated power given the federal for any rule or regulation: all current federal gun control laws are not lawful anywhere within the Juristiction of a State as no delegated power is given the federal to regulate the possession of Arms except to require their ownership and proficiency under the auspices of supporting the calling out and training of the Militia (this Power is covered by the relevant clause of A1:S8).
