BURKE COUNTY, N.C President Donald Trump responded in a letter to an 8-year-old Burke County boy who asked for a kidney for his father.
Fore Putnam only wanted one thing for Christmas last year -- a kidney for his dad.
Trae Putnam has a rare blood disease that left him in complete renal failure.
He has been on dialysis for nearly three years and has been on a waiting list for a donor.
Fore asked his grandmother who on earth could help him get his dad a kidney.
Thats when Fore turned to writing letters; one to Trump, his daughter, Ivanka Trump and to Santa Claus.
He received a letter from the White House this week.

Trump will probably come under fire for not offering one of his own kidneys.
Trump responds to NC boy pleading for help for father with kidney failure
It’s a good nature gesture.
But when you start messing with organ lists, you are playing with fire.
Because for everyone you bump up, somebody is getting bumped down.
Poor kid. I hope his dad gets a kidney, but that’s kind of a strange request for the grandmother to think up to send to the President.
President Trump can even locate spare kidneys? Well perhaps it’s a case of making reality happen. Miracle election, miracle kidney. What’s the diff? Maybe not so odd after all.
He should have written to Xi Jinping.......
Maybe it was from the grandmother.
But when an eight-year-old sees his father going to dialysis essentially 3 days a week, half of his life, I think that your old can come up with this on his own
Aren’t relatives the best donors? Most people have a large number of relatives and most of those relatives have two kidneys.
that was my thought too
They tend to be, but not always.
He should have written to Hillary Clinton. She might be able to tell him where there will be a fresh organ donor soon.
Lolo - not funny, but funny.
