Arpaio says he will resume attacking Obama's birth certificate if elected

Former Arizona sheriff and current GOP candidate Joe Arpaio says that he will resume his controversial campaign challenging the legality of former President Obama's birth certificate, deemed a racist campaign by many, if he is elected to the Senate.

In remarks first reported by Right Wing Watch, Arpaio told a roomful of supporters in Arizona that he has remained silent about his accusations pertaining to Obama's birthplace while campaigning, but plans to resume his attacks if elected.

"I don't talk about it anymore, until I become a U.S. senator. ... So I'm kind of dropping that right now," Arpaio told the Western Conservative Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

"But I'm going to tell you something," Arpaio continued, "100 percent we proved that's a fake document. One hundred."

Arpaio is running as a supporter of President Trump in the Arizona Senate race to replace retiring Sen. Jeff Flake (R). He faces two other GOP candidates in an August primary election, where he currently trails GOP Rep. Martha McSally (Ariz.).

“I don’t talk about it anymore, until I become a U.S. senator. ... So I’m kind of dropping that right now,” Arpaio told the Western Conservative Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.”

More and more reason to support Arpaio on his path to becoming a US Senator.

There, he will have a voice, a platform and the power to expose Obama.

Sheriff Joe is 85 years old. I still like and respect him but he’s gotta let go.

What is he going to accomplish with this now? All those years with little or nothing to show for it. What rock hasn’t been looked under?

I am afraid you are correct. What tends to happen in politics is that two good, but relatively unknown candidates split the vote, giving the better known but not electable candidate the win.

Right. What's he been doing with all the "evidence" he's collected over the years?

Sheriff Joe, please go away.

note how cleverly the slippery article is written

1. “challenging the legality of Obama’s birth certificate”

ANSWER: what birth certificate? so far we haven’t been given any birth certificate at all (only a highly-photoshopped pixel file)

2. “that some consider racist”...

ANSWER: the author manages to slur the sheriff for being ‘racist” right in the leed paragraph! ha! Talk about propaganda writing! Just WHO considers questioning the absence of a BC to be “racist” WHO? The author gives us no names, nobody stands behind that attribution or characterization. And, just how, why would the anonymous accusers even think such a thing? Where’s the facts? Or even, where’s the reasoning? No facts, no reasoning, no names, nothing validating or explaining the charge. Nothing at all.

All in the first few lines, too

go figure why so many Americans are turned off by the media these days!

“Please tell me that McSally or Ward are going to get this nomination and not Arpiao. He would be Roy Moore redux.”

So, how long are Republicans going to allow demonrat liars to select Republican candidates?

Maybe the Sheriff and Hillary should take a combination
Road-Trip-Listening-Tour Medicine-Show from coast to coast.
That will keep both of them occupied for a good while.

Obama would be a native-born US citizen if he was hand-delivered by the President of Kenya in a Nairobi hospital and the President of Kenya signed his Kenyan birth certificate.

Immigration and Nationality Act of 1790

“the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond Sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born Citizens: Provided, that the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States”

http://www.indiana.edu/~kdhist/H105-documents-web/week08/naturalization1790.html

“Oxford Dictionary”, Second Edition

Volume X page 245

“1709 Act 7 Anne c. 5...The Children of all natural-born subjects, born out of the Liegeance of her Majesty...shall be deemed...to be natural-born Subjects of this Kingdom.”

That 1709 law was I believe what the founders would have gone by. Anne was Queen of England in 1709.

The next Senator from Arizona needs to deal with present day issues and not people best left to history books.

There is no reason to resurrect the thing about Obama’s birth certificate. He simply does not have a United States birth certificate. If he had one, he would not have spent the money he spent to keep from showing it. Everybody knows he violated the Constitution, including the democrats. Remember before the 2008 election when they were all saying ‘it would be a shame if he were kept out of the Presidency on a technicality’?

There is no path to the Senate for Arpaio. Should he win the nomination he'll get creamed in the general.

Arpio is likely funded by RINOs to take votes from Ward to swing the primary to McSally.
