Actually, I shouldn’t have compared Down Syndrome people - gentle and kind - to recent college grads!

My cousin decided not to go to college, because he decided to stay working at a marina, that was 7 years ago and he is the service manager with certificates in rebuilding Suzuki, Yamaha, Mercury and Evinrude engines, stern drives and inboards. He is debt free (except for his house), and makes good money.

And so we've come full circle: Your problem, which you don't seem to understand, is that your sampling of recent college grads is incomplete, and inaccurate, and leads you to embarrass yourself by making false and idiotic comparisons. Unlike the Down Syndrome people, you don't have an excuse.
As I said before: if you want to trash the arts degrees, I defer to your expert knowledge. Of such things, I know nothing. Your problem is that you have over-reached, and borne false witness. Your best bet would be to carefully limit your comments to those subjects with which you are familiar.
