This was not a budget but a simple spending bill. The money is appropriated but Trump doesn’t have to spend it.
In that sense, he has a line item veto. Just order all the Democrat projects to be delayed. Build the wall with the military funds and contract with the Army Corps of Engineers.
Spin it however you want, Doctor— we’re not reading your lips. You just assured you’re a one-termer, and we’re about to get another Clinton-like POTUS as a result. Only worse this time.

One item thinker! The list of things Trump has accomplished without ANY help from the GOP... is beyond what all expected. He’s kept promises no other President has. He has had mega attacks to deal with and a media that is totally against him and spreads anti-Trump trash all day every day.
And this one item.... he did for the military when he had the chance... the military has been downgraded under barack.. and congress could care less. Trump does care.

Am I to understand, then, that President Trump can not only withhold the $500 million earmarked for Planned Parenthood, but redirect that money for legitimate national security purposes?

To find exactly how the discretionary spending took place might be difficult, however, Dems will be up in arms over it at some point....lol I will continue to look for a link to those numbers, if possible to find. :)
