Communists/democrats always have this problem. They want control over every little aspect of everyone’s lives.
Progressive mentality must control all, or its “leaders” can brand those who don’t as “deplorables,” and even, “irredeemable.”
It’s almost like it is genetic.
But more likely just passed from one generation to the next through conditioning.
