The rage-wing of the Democratic Party has gotten active again. Former Obama administration United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power followed former Central Intelligence Agency Director John Brennan to make big threats to the Trump administration in the wake of the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe for lying. It's fascinating because it's something President Trump had absolutely nothing to do with, given that it was apolitical watchdogs in the Department of Justice and the FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility who made the call. Yet they are lashing out and now making threats - because it's dawning on them that they too can be held accountable.

I’m not a congresscritter nor do I play one on TV nor did I sleep at a Holiday Inn last night...but this is a piece of testimony that would just floor me. And I *do* mean physically. How can you let this statement go by? (which is what I thought at the time)
What power does Brennan - who is out of government - have over Trump? This threat he made suggests that he’s in cahoots with people who DO have power. This is called a cabal. It’s called treason.
Think there needs to be more attention paid to the Democrats response.
It has been made clear in the McCabe issue that the Democrats consider their political agenda above the law. Any action is deemed permissible by the Democrat Party leadership as long as it is seen to be advancing their political agenda.
That level or dangerous extremism should give American Voters pause. Do you REALLY want political leaders who think they are above the law in charge of your government?

The grumpy old white guy, Brennan, is doing everything he can to keep his ass out of prison. The noose is starting to tighten around the necks of Obama’s “seventeen intelligence agencies”

Wouldn’t bowing out gracefully give you the best chances later when all the details come out? A sympathetic person is a lot harder to vilify, but they practically make themselves villains when the froth at the mouth. They either think their connections will hold and the swamp will stay full, or they went so far off the deep end of corruption that they know when it comes out they are doomed. Either way, they just can’t control the rage.
Brennan and Powers have called Trump’s attention to Brennan.
