"Outside of Trump, what Republicans are there that get anybody fired up?"

There were a couple of Republicans who might have voted to impeach Trump, and they're leaving. All the rest of them are worth getting fired up for, if you want to see Trump stay in office. And nearly all of them will vote to support the Second Amendment.

I still say there are some poor statisticians buried in unmarked graves because they miscalculated the amount of fraudulent votes needed to win the 2016 election for the hag. They always cheat. Why isn’t the yard gnome in the justice department going after all the election fraud? I’ll tell you why, it’s because he is part of the swamp!
I feel sorry for the president I voted for. The entire government apparatus is against him. It’s sickening that the Kenyan got everything it wanted. If there were only a few people in government that wanted to drain the swamp besides the president. I am afraid there are none!

Democrats do have a wave of man-hating going, and they are going to turn out. It’s impossible to ignore the emphasis on the pink hats and the like. Many Republicans in government jobs and corporations (swing voters for Clinton during the ‘90s) who’ve had their way with the same unhealthy attitude for decades are going to lay down or vote for the enemy.

It’s time to help the younger conservatives get going and stop wasting my time here. They are much more in favor of what Trump’s supporters have been trying to do.

double-digit win for Conor Lamb in CD-18.

Whatever happened to the idea of a recount down there?

The freaking commies win by 500 votes and the Republicans just shrug and walk home?

Give democrats a 500-vote margin and they'll close in a landslide.

I don't want to dilute your point, which is that the Democrats are HIGHLY motivated, and if we don't GOTV massively we are going to be rocked in November.

But I will pick one nit: the seat we lost in PA was not "deep red." It isn't even "slightly red." Democrats have a registration edge in that district, there was a scandal involving the GOP candidate who vacated the seat, and Lamb ran basically as a Trump candidate: Pro-2A, Pro-Life, vowed he would not vote for Pelosi as Speaker, and made pro-MAGA statements.

So it's not as alarming as a 20 point flip might make it seem. Will he follow through? No. Of course not. He's a Democrat and a liar.

But still, midterms are about turnout, and the Democrats WILL be turning out. Anyone who scoffs at that is a fool.

In PA you don’t get a recount above automatic threshold unless you can convince the PA Superior Court or PA Supreme Court that you have some strong indication that there were systemic problems or fraud.

A term from some young conservatives in several countries:

68er
Anyone who agrees with any part of the prevailing baby boomer, hippie, counter-culture philosophy. Alludes to the year, 1968, and the mass psychosis that followed from around that time.

“Hi, honey. Those old people down the street say that you’re lazy and useless, even though you work. They say that you’re not good enough for me. They think I should leave you, go to college and become an independent woman instead of having kids. Isn’t that a hoot? They’re 68ers.”

Newt has been fully behind Trump. Calling him GOPe is ridiculous.

If indeed the House is lost, then Trump should be yet more bold. If Mueller steps any further to broaden the “Russian collusion” investigation, bring it to an end. What’s the worst that can happen?

Last week, there was a poll showing the democrats loosing 5 to 6 seats in the senate. Polls this far out are absolutely worthless.

Sorry, we saw how much the GOPe care about the 2A when they barely lifted a finger to defeat Hillary Criminal and her 2A destroying SCOTUS.

The RNC needs to send out surveys.

I would not count too heavily on this. I, and many I know about have not answered a poll honestly since around 2007.

I would recommend that we proceed as if we are losing votes wholesale and persuade voters of all parties that we should never allow fake news to force us to be dispirited.

There should be a constant push to persuade and remind the marginal voters of all parties to ask themselves, are you better off today than you were in October of 2016?

Ignorant does not necessarily mean "stupid!"

” the latest national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds”.

Brings me back to the good ol’ days when Hillary had a 90% chance of winning.

Republicans are what they are. It’s not an act. They’re hodge podge of swamp snakes, deep staters, TEA Partiers, Never Trumpers and MAGA-hat-wearing Trump supporters. They don’t really have an act. The Trump supporters are the ones who are front and center, them and the TEA Partiers, and getting THEIR act together means realizing this is war and deploying all their weapons, including charm and fair-mindedness, but also refusing to be shouted down, and when slandered hitting back hard, Trump style. And when assaulted physically, winning an old-fashioned brawl, whether with a Donald-Duck-suit wearing snowflake, or an anti-fa or union thug. No more Berkeleys.

Yup, the GOP will be dead. There will be a uniparty. If the people don’t rise, the country is toast.

Yes. D+8 and Trump has a +6 lead over Democrats . . . with a +8 D advantage.

Can you please repeat that in English?

I refuse to learn "Twitspeak..."

Ryan and McConnell need to go. I don’t understand why they are the leaders. No Obamacare repeal, government is growing, and there is wall or immigration reform.
