The West must respond firmly to Russia’s nerve agent attack
The Hill (Progressives Piled Higher) ^ | March 16, 2018 | Alexander Vershbow, Daniel Fried, Franklin D. Kramer

The London nerve agent attack on former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter has been specifically ascribed to Russia by the United Kingdom prime minister, fully supported by the White House and American officials including at the United Nations. That attack itself – the first attack using weapons of mass destruction on NATO soil – calls for a significant response. But such a response is even more imperative when placed in the context of Russia’s ongoing hybrid warfare against the West and against vulnerable neighbors like Ukraine.

In recent years, Russia and its surrogates have engaged in other instances of low-level use of force such as the attempted assassination of the prime minister of Montenegro in 2016 and the kidnapping of an Estonian border guard in 2014; the use of direct cyber attacks such as the NotPetya attack which affected multiple countries and resulted in significant losses; the hack-and-release actions against the French presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee in the United States; and the continued disinformation campaigns undertaken by entities such as RT and Sputnik as well as cyber trolls working under Russian government auspices.

Wasn’t a concern about this when Obama was King.

A response will be forthcoming when a whiff of this agent stinks up a heavily frequented and enclosed public place.

Did the Russians learn from the Clintons re how to remove problems from their issues?

Or is Section 20 of the Brit SIS making the Russians look bad or just taking out the Russian Trash left over from the Cold War to make the Russians look bad?

Section 20 | Strike Back Wiki | FANDOM powered by Wikia
strikeback.wikia.com/wiki/Section_20

Section 20 was an elite covert British military intelligence and counter-terrorism unit, originally formed within the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS). The unit traveled around the world covertly neutralizing terrorist threats against the United Kingdom and their allies.

Our forefathers knew better than to ever trust the Red Coats.

Yellow journalism.

Hillary’s job if she got in was to start a war with Russia for the elites.

The propaganda mill we call the free press in America is just trying to pick up where she failed.

“Wasn’t a concern about this when Obama was King.”

The Obamas/Clintons ate, dined, drank expensive wine and took big bribes from the Russians for decades with no problems.

Now only a year+ later post Obama, the Russians are the worst enemy we have.

Of course no one wants to look south of our borders to see our real enemies there and here.

Shouldn’t we 100% verify that it was the Russians who did this? Starting a way over this is serious business.

We have no quarrel with Russia!

The “assassination “attempts in Engad are so obviously am attempt by the deep state to frame Putin.

Your globalist leaders have already told you big bad Putin is responsible. Despite the fact he is busy campaigning in elections and preparing for the soccer world cup when the eyes of the world will be on Russia.

Ditto what you said.

I’m not 100% convinced that Russia did this killing or the other killing in London.

The London nerve agent attack on former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter smells like a Soros/CIA operation.

BTW, where’s our resident NeoCon/Troskyite FReepers, beating the drum for a war with Russia and calling everyone who doesn’t subscribe to the National Review party line “Putinistas”

Its okay for the govt. of England to allow Muslim to operate in their country raping and prostituting young girls (thousands) but by God attack a Russian spy then all hell is supposed to break loose. Sit scared and afraid to offend Muslims but rally the troop when Russian does something. What a piece of shit England has turned into. cowards with no morals at all.

Show me the evidence. Without evidence, the leftist foreign policy establishment is no more believable than Putin.

Why? We set the precedent in Syria of accusing Assad when logic is that it was ISIS or rogue elements in the Syrian army. It's "guilty" because we're the good guys and we said so.

I look at the map. With the US getting pushy, there's a real nasty coalition that could unite against over-extended us if war happened.

One answer: HELL NO!

You gotta love the anti-war/war monger left. So Russia is not Communist anymore so America NOW must fight them. Dictators must be removed so to be replaced by Islamic Regimes. Liberals and many so called Republicans are INSANE. I can only imagine the horror of a Clinton Administration play out. It's also sickening how the left is petrified of President Trump but would give anything Clinton does a pass even provoking Russia.

The Russians put Geeks from various countries on their payrolls and they give them bonuses for their work if it proves valuable. Essentially the Russians use free lancers with no accountability to be incurred.
