I am thinking men are normally very vocal about their political leanings so women usually know how the men in their lives are voting. They can then opt to do 1 of 3 things: vote with her man so they make a two-vote bloc, vote against her man to neutralize his vote or not vote at all because she doesn’t feel it’s her place or she doesn’t know the candidates, etc.
It’s a secret ballot so how often each of these three things happen, we’ll never know. But one thing is for sure, the women I know don’t vote a certain way just to mollify their men. They do whichever course they feel led to do.
Shame on Hillary for her statement because she, above most others, would surely know better.

An analogy: If a very rich man owns a mansion, and it takes twenty-five poor man to maintain the mansion. If you win the vote of the twenty-five poor man and lose the vote of the Rich man, did you Win the area of the Wealthy? New York & Los Angeles being the Rich Man.
White men and white women, who mostly work and pay taxes, realize that Democrats want them to support the 50% who do not pay taxes, their base. Maybe some of them figured out what is wrong with this picture.

My brother said he had heard “Trump brings out in people what they really are” - looking to this as an example it is an interesting theory.
Using data from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_and_territories_by_GDP we can see that Hillary's states + DC + 75% of Maine had a total GDP of $8.91 trillion and President Trump's states + 25% of Maine had a total GDP of $9.08 trillion. Trump wins and Clinton lies... again.
