Another article about this, not too much different:
Pennsylvania special election may see recount; Lamb, Saccone separated by razor-thin margin

What happened to the commission or whatever it was that was going to look into voter fraud? Headed by VP Pence, and the DHS? IIRC I read it was stopped.
WHY?

GOP-controlled House is not going to seat the winner until after a recount and all challenges are resolved.
Won’t happen for perhaps a month or so.

You know, common sense would indicate that one little election is easier to steal than a nation-wide one.
Am I right? Hillary?

Not to worry. The Democrats will find 10,000 forgotten ballots in the trunk of a Buick like they always do.

Pennsylvania is where they uncovered voter fraud before, right?

What?! The GOP aren’t throwing in the towel? Must be a first.
To: little jeremiah
Anyone know when the last time was that the GOP won a recount when they were behind?
This one is lost, IMHO.

There are still about 203 absentee ballots and then additional provisional and military ballots left to be counted, but Saccone would have to capture an overwhelming majority of those outstanding ballots to win. Saccone could take them all and he'd still be several hundred votes short.
To: little jeremiah
Not much to recount. It is all voting machines. They will be able to recount the absentee ballots though.

there were reports on Twitter that people were kept from voting due to confusion over redistricting. i wonder if we’ll hear more about that.

THey should make Saccone do the recount all by himself for being such a s#itty candidate.

Elections won by less than half a percent of votes cast should be automatically recounted. Having to ask for one casts the apparent loser in a bad light.

Kudos to the GOP for fighting this. Many unanswered questions remain. This is my district.

District wont exist for long anyway.
What irks me is the Republicans ran a stiff. He had the charisma of a block of wood.
The Democrat was younger, more energetic and was actually more pro Trump than many establishment Republicans.
Trump cant do it all by himself folks.

There was a Tweet with
QAnon Info out before, I should have saved it. It went something like this:
"The White Hats are controlling the vote in PA-18 to force a recount. They know where the fraud is and they are going to expose it."

While I would like to see the Republican win, it seems kind of pointless since the district is likely to be gone in the next election.
It is ironic that the Democrats thought they were removing a deep red district but will ending a sitting Democrats position.

"Miscalibrated"
What calibaration is needed of a voting machine. It's not as though there can be rounding errors or anything. Votes are digital, e.g. they come in digits, you know, like one-potato, two-potato, which doesn't round up to 1.5 potatoes + a 1/2 a potato for the other guy. It's like saying we need to recalibrate the goal post before counting whether the kick was in or out.
