I don’t think any voting numbers have come in yet. The NYT is just giving polling projections.

In other words, the NYT can’t call it yet.

Their estimates are usually pretty good. I cannot stand the NYT but they have the best election results coverage.

Off year elections usually motivate the party out of power.
it’s the way of politics.

Turn out has been HEAVY in these special elections for the DIMS and our side it’s been less than lackluster.

Personally, I see it as a lose-lose.

****************

Agree, I see it the same way. Also will be viewed as a bit of a political loss for Trump who put his prestige on the line for a mediocre candidate in a very tight race.

What kind of voting machines are they using? Paper ballots?

It couldn’t be any more clear that the GOPe is coasting and has no interesting in going all in on MAGA. In fact, I wouldn’t doubt people like the Koch Brothers hope the Dims take the House and slow down Trump’s agenda.

Could be the case tonight.

Like I said, in a tight race, it will come down to turnout.

Posobiec was kinda dour a couple hours ago. Is it Spring Break there? That could have a number of effects on turnout.
