Buddhist mobs in Sri Lanka last week led anti-Muslim riots that left at least three dead and more than 200 Muslim-owned establishments in ruins, just the latest bout of communal violence there stoked by Buddhist nationalists.
In Myanmar, ultra-nationalist monks led by firebrand preacher Wirathu have poured vitriol on the country's small Muslim population, cheering a military crackdown forcing nearly 700,000 Rohingya into Bangladesh.
And in neighbouring Thailand, a prominent monk found himself in hot water for calling on followers to burn down mosques.

Islam trumps Buddhism in the liberal progressive / victim stack.
So Buddhists defending themselves from violent Muslim migrants (like the Rohinga) or Islamic terrorism (India) get portrayed as the aggressors by liberal secularists who otherwise adore Buddhists.
Same trend is why Muslim rape gangs in the UK are identified as “Asian” instead of Muslim, though that ends up smearing Indian Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists in the process because liberals don’t dare admit it is ISLAM that the rapists share in common.
And why they’d literally sacrifice thousands of white working class, literally poor, British girls to a true rape culture.
