Oh, we remember it well since we still lived there during that time frame. Same with providing rail service to Port Canaveral running parallel to SR 528/Beeline. How many years has that been on again off again?
I maintain the biggest problem the MSM face is lack of intelligent thought throughout levels of decision-makers.
This results in weather updates all the time during TV news, and less time for actual reporting on stuff like this.
Print? Who the heck under 45 picks up a newspaper anymore?
Even the Sacramento Bee covered the details the author is whining about.
They’re screaming for gun control, yet they name their train to bankruptcy the “Bullet Train”.
Maybe they need to rename it. “Progressively accelerating conveyance”?
Mafia winks
One thing John Kasich did right in Ohio was to refuse the "highspeed rail" money dangled by the new Obama regime back in the day. Running from Cleveland to Columbus to Cincinnati, the "Three-C" route, once stops were figured in, would run about 45 mph; and parallel I-71, which is 70 mph most of the way.
California grass roots should rise up and demand this sucking wound be cauterized.
To the politicians of California:
Please send all of your bullet train money to me.
You still will never get a bullet train but I will be happier!
