These people screwed around with Kickstarter campaign money for a year, opening about ten months later than planned, and now they have limited hours, slow service, few customer, the corner they are one is one of the most thuggish of any commercial cluster in the general vicinity, and that’s saying something, and they have a “we’re not really here to run a business, we’re here to virtue signal” mentality.
I don’t see them flourishing.

Exactly. If I owned a business that stood a good chance to get robbed, I would want the police hanging around my store and parking lot. All the free coffee and soft drinks they could drink every day.
I find the difference interesting mainly because online translation, though still imperfect, makes the difference clear. They're not hiding their "principles" very deeply.
I can imagine a sit-in in this cafe’s future, though I don’t want to imagine what’s on the seats.
