Despite Fox’s resident unicorn lover Greg Gutfield’s lamentations to the contrary, the Conservative vs Liberal war is over. The real battle is globalist vs. nationalist. Or American Patriots vs. The World if you prefer.

It’s an upside down world. Liberals hate and fear Russians and are pro big globalist business. The exact opposite of what liberal were the Cold War.

I think the problem might be that the US steel industry isnt what it used to be, so US supply may quickly be outstripped by demand. Which would erase any benefit by buying US made steel. What Free Traitors want you to believe is that the supply function is static and no new domestic suppliers will EVER come on line. Despite their best efforts to the contrary brand new factories are still being built in the USA all the time. Not as many as are closed mind you but the situation is dynamic and not static. With more domestic supply will mean pressure to reduce prices.

Speaking of, POTUS declares tariffs on Chinese steel, days later North Korea begs to talk and give up their nuclear weapons. Coincidence Im sure. IMO, totally unrelated. Kimmie boy is out of money having depleted his reserves and the Trump Administration was successful in tightening the economic noose around his throat so successfully that absent any incoming money at all, Kimmie was actually getting hungry for a change. Perhaps he dropped a few pounds and got scared too.
What the Nork's have discovered is they cannot bully PDJT the way they did past Democrat and Republican Presidents and they don't have a choice but to start behaving.
The tariff's themselves had zero impact on the Nork's other than to send the message that this President says what he means, and means what he says when he says "America first!"
That's NOT something the Nork's have experienced in the last 50+ years.
The times, they are a changin'.....

That is for now. As more domestic supplies of steel and aluminum come online that increase in cost will go down. This is the starting point - not the end.

Why don't you know about tariffs? The information is readily available. Here's a link.

I added a new circuit and GFCI outlet to my bathroom. I bought the GFCI outlet at Lowes. When I get home and get ready to install the outlet is says Made in China stuck to the outlet. The Made in China was not on the outside of the box it came in. I had to take it back and go to a real electrical supply place to get one I could trust. If you count the time I wasted I should of have called a electrician to do it.
See, the globalists are f---ing us in so many unseen ways.

Aren't countries going to say if you want to export to us you have to demonstrate being open to our exports as well? It depends...how large are their markets, how high are their existing trade barriers, and how big is their trade imbalance with the United States?
Vietnam isn't going to wield much leverage in that negotiation because its market is too small. Neither is China because their trade imbalance with the United States is so great. In addition, both have high barriers to their domestic markets.
Countries which maintain greater parity in trade with the United States and/or have less barriers to US exports are going to be more valuable to the US and thus have more leverage in negotiations.
When it becomes apparent to other countries that Trump means business, and opening their markets and shrinking their trade imbalances with the United States is the best way to gain access to the US market, the export orders will flow.

I agree. That’s our version of “woke”. It’s our red pill. Once a person gets that, everything changes.
