Former CIA chief John Brennan made a rare appearance on Twitter Wednesday to lash out at President Donald Trump over “ignorance” that threatens U.S. prosperity.
The commander in chief’s recent talk of possible steel and aluminum tariffs prompted a social-media jab by Mr. Brennan this week. The post — 1 of 18 total tweets, with the vast majority related to Mr. Trump or the U.S. Russia probe — questioned the president’s economic acumen.
“You show an amazing albeit unsurprising ignorance of how technology, automation, and the attendant evolution of economics and societies have transformed the world,” Mr. Brennan, who served under former President Obama, wrote. “Your simple minded policies — imposition of tariffs — have the potential to seriously damage our future prosperity.”

Brennan has taken the CIA across the Rubicon.
America’s head spook, assassin and plotter has just declared he is also a highly partisan and political animal. Brennan has told the world who is is (and was while in office) and has said to the DC establishment: its OK to be political.
It is extremely unprecedented and ominous for the future American politics. Until now, CIA Directors, regardless of their opinions, simply kept quiet as they at least maintained the pretense of unbiased national servants.
I feel I am the only one who sees the extreme danger of what he is doing.

I think Brennan is neck deep in the Clinton-Dossier Scandal.
He made no secret of his dislike of Trump. He was the one to went to Capital Hill in late August 2016 to meet with Harry Reid and “inform” him about “Russian collusion”, and a few days later, Reid is calling for an investigation by the FBI.
