(Nigel Farage at :05)

.....Italy the third biggest country in Europe by population and a very dramatic set of election results.

If you haven't heard the Five Star Movement, the anti-Establishment movement founded by comedian Beppe Grillo....

he was the most famous comedian in the country.....

they were anti-corruption, anti-establishment, skeptical in many ways about the Euro and the European Union, very pro-environmental policies and they have acheived 32.6 percent of the vote.....

One in three voters have voted for the Five Star Movement.

What about the established parties well the Democratic Party led by Mr. Renzi the former Prime Minister, so they are the Social Democrat-Socialist Center-Left party who a couple of elections ago got 40 percent and they've sunk to 18.7 percent.

Then we have the League, the Lega as they're known in Italy, formerly the Northern League.......

They are the absolute euroskeptics led by a guy called Salvini and they got 17.4 precent and then then.....

Berlusconi with Forza Italia has got 14 percent of the vote.....

The Five Star Movement and I, Beppe Grillo and I in 2014 did a deal together and formed the European Parliamentary group. In previous times I done deals with the Northern League and I know Berlusconi because when I was first an MEP he was an MEP so I know these guys.....

Nigel Farage sees a big anti-EU vote in Italy with the possibility of the 5 Star Movement and the League leading a government there in talks to form a new government?

Seat results right now show the Centre-Right group at 260 in the lower house, 56 short of a majority.

5 Star is at 221 with the League, which is part of the Centre-Right group at 73 seats in the proportional seats.

The old ruling Left-Center group is down to 112 seats.

I was listening to Jordan Peterson talk about the demise of the EU. He thought the huge culture differences between the Greeks and the Germans would be a wedge to drive the EU apart. The one culture is about order and industry and the other is corrupt and bohemian. They both resent each other and demand things for the preservation of the union that the other can’t supply. It was an interesting take and it is hard to believe that a union between such disparate peoples can long endure. I think you can see a gradual swing in the Germans to a harder line AfD style, anti-immigrant and anti-EU view. The latest EU coalition barely made it, but it seems to be the last gasp of the pro-EU crowd.

I liken the EU marriage to Greece, Spain and Italy to that friend who, drunk, met a woman in a bar that he didn’t know at all and he married her. Years later, they have a child and are divorced because they can’t stand each other.

No. Of course not. Macaroon and murkul will get together and strengthen the EU. If a wimpy PM is chosen in Italy, he will stay in the EU, but attempt to weaken its control over Italy.

The EU’s intent is to destroy national boundaries, and create a United States of Europe, with a strong federal government, and weak puppet governments in Paris, Berlin, Rome, Athens, etc. The EU has already lost any sign of Judeo-Christian principles and will definitively suppress any that remain in the puppet states.

“Beppe Grillo”? What is he? Friends with Topo Gigio and Domenic the Donkey? Haven’t we suffered enough?

You know, the basic idea of an EU sounds really good, and has some benefits.

However, most people who recognize the reality of human nature understand that the pitfalls of it are over-regulation, bureaucracy, and leftist elitist rule that impose harmful and jackbooted laws on everyone else.
