Those strongman moves, culminating in a grab for indefinite rule, are exactly what Trump — whose wannabe authoritarianism is well established at this point — admitted he admires. In the first paragraph of the excerpt, what he said was a joke. Hillary lovers and Trump haters are ready to chuck the magazine in the virtual or actual trash.
But read a little further: Those strongman moves, culminating in a grab for indefinite rule, are exactly what Trump — whose wannabe authoritarianism is well established at this point — admitted he admires. And Trump doesn’t just look up to Xi.

Rush played the audio on his show today. Trump was making other cracks - jokes - before this remark, so clearly it was a JOKE. Trump said the line in a joking manner. The crowed laughed loudly at the JOKE.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't remember the MSM anguishing over the thought of Obama staying in office, they relished it! But when Donald Trump makes a joke about it, you'd think the Republic were coming to an end.
