The Los Angeles Police Department will deploy 500 officers to wrap the Dolby Theatre in multiple barriers of armed security for the 90th Academy Awards on Sunday night, an event at which several of Hollywoods most celebrated stars will actively push for more gun control in America. We have these concentric rings of security that start in the middle and radiate outward, said LAPD Cmdr. Blake Chow, the man tasked with overseeing the massive operation. We have a lot of officers in fixed posts and foot beats keeping an eye on the event.
Several celebrities plan to wear orange lapel pins on the red carpet and during tonights ceremony in support of gun control and the Michael Bloomberg-founded gun control advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety.
Indeed, there will be road closures to prevent people breaching a security perimeter made up of a wall of ten-foot gates and barricades, FBI agents, and firefighters. Police helicopters will be buzzing above and private security guards from Security Industry Specialists will be inside the Dolby Theater.

“Kevin Spacey wants to meet Hogg in private.”
Spacey is.
By the way, from now on I am referring to semi-auto firearms, like a typical rifle before OR after a Bumpfire stock is installed, as a single-shot rifle, since one single trigger pull = one single shot. FULL autos would be multi-shot. Beatem at their word games!
Its only as fast as your trigger finger.
“Its only as fast as your trigger finger.”
Well, it is a little faster than THAT, if you know how to bumpfire it.

No need for a Bumpfire stock. Amazingly fun! Accuracy is naturally compromised, though. Short handgun cartridges have the highest cyclic rate, since less bolt travel is needed.
Bumpfiring is 100% legal, and safe in a properly maintained modern sporting rifle. Some gun ranges do not like it, though, because they feel you don’t have adequate control of the firearm. I am sure that could well be the case of you bumpfired a cartridge anywhere from .308 NATO on up.
Just tell the anti-gunners that Bumpfire guns are SINGLE SHOT rifles. One trigger pull = one shot!
