Justice Department Quietly Investigating ‘Illegal Leak’ of Gen. Michael Flynn’s Phone Calls

Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently told Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo that the Justice Department is investigating the ‘illegal leak’ of former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn’s telephone calls.

Breitbart News reports:

Asked specifically by Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo if his office was investigating the leak, he responded: “That is a violation of the law, to leak classified documents, and it is being investigated.”

Those comments were overshadowed by his remarks that alleged FBI abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act were being investigated. Sessions later said it was actually the Justice Department Inspector General investigating that matter, not DOJ prosecutors, prompting a strong rebuke from President Trump earlier this week.

However, it appears that the Flynn leak is being handled by the Justice Department. Breitbart News asked Justice Department Press Secretary Sarah Isgur Flores about Sessions’ comments and whether the leak is being investigated by the DOJ or the DOJ IG. Flores indicated the former. […]

In December 2016, Flynn, then the incoming national security adviser, spoke with U.S. Ambassador to Russia Sergei Kislyak via phone, to discuss sanctions the Obama administration had just enacted on Moscow, in response to election interference.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported, then-FBI Director James Comey told lawmakers last year that bureau agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe that the ex-Trump official had lied to them.

If they are “quietly investigating” it, why is Jeff Sessions talking about it on TV?

Comey leaks. Muller leaks. Everybody does it. They only prosecute leaks, mishandling classified info, and perjury for things like snapshots at work for your girlfriend, lying under oath about performance enhancing steroids, etc...

If they are ‘quietly’ investigating, that means they are in the process of covering it up.

“If they are ‘quietly’ investigating, that means they are in the process of covering it up.”

I wonder if Rod Rosenstein is leading this investigation?

...With each passing day, more evidence suggests the indictment of Flynn was a dubious one...

‘quietly’ investigating

Take your time. Take your time. It's only Michael Flynn who can't get his life back while you quietly investigate what has been going on for well over a year now.

The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down and patience has about run out on Session's 7D chess. We need to see the posse galloping into DC dust trailing behind, rifles loaded, cocked and beads drawn on the foreheads of traitors. Like about 8AM Monday morning.

Time's up Jeff. Time to move along and make way for someone who can get something done.

Judge Emmet Sullivan

Judge Sullivan may turn out to be the rarest of the rare in this country: an impartial federal judge.

Every investigation has to start with an investigation so they know who did it before they can be seen investigating who did it. No surprises are allowed in D.C.

Our government is an absolute JOKE! The swamp machine purposely moves everything along at the speed necessary to keep the swamp out of trouble and cause the greatest harm to America and our President.

Flynn needs to be 100% exonerated.

Flynn and his family need to be 100% compensated for legal expenses incurred from Mueller’s baseless and malicious prosecution stemming from illegal wiretaps and doctored evidence.

And Flynn needs to be restored to his rightful position as Trump’s National Security Advisor.

Immediately.

Jeff is the arm dummy of Rubenstein. Rubenstein assigns Sessions a few speaking engagements and announcements. This is one of them. Rubenstein is willing to entertain an IG who can only sniff out inner department protocol breaches.

Besides, Rubenstein already knows McCabe is a marked man.

Where is Comey’s breach to his professor pal to leak classified info and Force a special counsel against the president, by the name of his friend, Mueller. Check that leak out.

We need a Special Counsel to investigate the corrupt method for appointing the Special Council. Confusing web of foul play isn’t it?

The whole bunch in the justice department are Leaki Tikis. I imagine they argue about whose turn it is to leak.
