Reyna says that brings a total of 58 Twin Peaks cases that have been disposed out of 154 bikers who were indicted and 177 total who were arrested.
The bikers' cases dismissed are those for Raymond Hawes, Daniel Johnson, Edward Keller Jr., Jeremy King, Brian Logan, Robert Nichols, Anthony Shane Palmer, Victor Pizana, Clayton Reed, Sergio Reyes, Gregory Salazar, Seth A. Smith and Ricky Wycough.
Reyna said his office will refuse cases for Steven Walker, Jimmy Spencer, Bobby Samford, Julie Perkins, Morgan English, William English, Benjamin Matcek, Jimmy Smith, Bradley Terwilliger, Justin Waddington, Daryle Walker, Royce Vanvleck, Christopher Eaton, Brian Eickenhorst, Arley Harris, James Venable, Jeremy Ojeda, Kevin Rash, Richard Kreder, Owen Bartlett, Richard Dauley, Craig Rodahl, Walter Weaver and Michael Woods.
Reyna also announced that he will recuse his office in the case involving biker William Aikin.
The dismissal list includes the names of 10 bikers that had hearings scheduled for Thursday in Judge Ralph Strother of Wacos 19th State District Court. Those bikers had filed motions seeking to disqualify Reyna from handling their cases.
Those hearings will be canceled.

OH my word, read something the other day about blocking these from being able to sue the County. Not sure if that was True but if not this will be very costly for somebody. Thanks again for keeping us updated much appreciated. Basically what we figured from day one.
From what I have read on this case which has been going on forever, the only people that belong in prison, is every person involved in this entire Government Apparatus that created this Cluster F*ck, Including the Judge
“While it’s been said by my detractors that this is an effort to avoid taking the stand at a hearing, that could not be further from the truth. I would remind the public that I have already taken the stand in two of these matters. Furthermore, the lies, half-truths, and rumors about me and this office have made their way to the public through Biker Gang Defense Lawyer filings and reporting by the media,” he said Wednesday.
“Personally, I am looking forward to a case that warrants a hearing and believe it will end in a favorable ruling for the prosecution. The thing that seems to have been forgotten is that it is not the baseless accusations against me that remain to be seen – but rather the cross examination and questioning of my accusers and witnesses being called on my behalf that hold the real truth behind these accusations,” he said.
That's gonna leave a mark.
One would hope the get reimbursed for all damages and costs.
A total mockery of justice, exposing the DA's office as having committed gross abuse of power—cheered on by some so-called patriots.
The County shouldn't be immune from the many lawsuits which this flagrant and extensive abuse of power clearly merits...
You posted over an hour ago, and I can still get and “In Before...”
And I was looking forward to seeing how the DA’s social media team could put a positive spin on this development.
Must be gettin' old or sumpin'.
5 days before the GOP primary, and the DA drops charges because he is afraid to take the stand. What has he been doing for three years?
Injustice is swift in Waco.
Thug thought bikers were fair game, without rights.
Maybe the resources had to be diverted for the political campaign.
Wonder if the DA’s going to reinstate the charges on March 7.
.....well, freepers, just be patient...........Williamson County just sent Judge Tim Wright to prison for 18 months on weapons charges.
A few years back Williamson County sent another District Judge to prison for sending an innocent man to prison for 20 years on bogus evidence.
So, these judges and DA’s in Waco KNOW they might face the bar of justice themselves some day.
Williamson County is just south of Waco a couple of counties and north of and adjacent to Travis County (Austin).
What a fiasco this turned out to be.
DEFENSE BAR JEERS AT LAST MINUTE REFUSAL TO PROSECUTE TWIN PEAKS CASES ON EVE OF HEARING INTO FED PROBE
WACO – Lawyers representing clients released from prosecution for engaging in organized criminal behavior in the Twin Peaks cases called BS when DA Abel Reyna made his announcement on Wednesday.
To a man and woman, the barristers all said the same thing.
Reyna is facing extensive civil litigation in federal court in which defendants are seeking multimillions in money damages.
He cannot afford the addition to the court record of the testimony of members of his own staff acknowledging they gave statements against him to FBI Special Agent Dan Brust regarding criminal misconduct.
---In a poignant Facebook entry, Casie Gotro, defense counsel from Houston who battled Reyna, Jarrett, and Dillon to a mistrial in the case against Dallas Bandidos President Jake Carrizal, the only case to be presented to a trial jury so far, said:
Manuel Rodriguez aka Candyman was killed in the parking lot of Twin Peaks. Shot in the face with a 9mm handgun before he could even turn his bike off. The spot where he fell has been defiled with graffitti. “FL”. F---ing Loser. The gun that fired the death shot was recovered from a saddle bag on a motorcycle parked in front of TP. Able Reyna just dismissed the charges against the man who parked it there.
She stopped short of naming the alleged assailant, adding, “I am sick to my stomach.” She is in a position to know. Ms. Gotro is one of the few persons on the planet who has examined and catalogued the estimated 2 million documents and items in evidence in the prosecution’s trial brief turned over on discovery.---
Damn
He is one Wicked Deep State DA
The reality of the situation was made clear to everyone with much knowledge of motorcycling on the second day of reporting, when the venue became known.
