As I wrote the guest list for this week, I right away saw the narrative is focused on the ONLY option to school shootings, in accordance with the democratic party driveby media--banning firearms. Every person they have on from these various groups are part and parcel of this goal. Keep that in mind not only while watching the shows, but even as you read this, as their guest lists announce that narrative.
But honestly, lets understand that this narrative is NOT in any way spontaneous or grassroots. The democrats and the driveby’s have ALWAYS been waiting for this day where they think they can get the nation to do what Australia did after Melbourne and The UK did after Dunblane. Only those countries do not have a legal Bill of Rights as enshrined in the first 10 amendments to the Constitution. It won’t happen. People are not going to give up their rights. States won’t rescind any of the Bill of Rights, ever. Only tyranny can remove them.
Horrible people committed acts of murder, so the harmless, law-abiders must give up their ability to protect themselves? Will the insane, the criminal, and the scofflaw?
Of course not! That’s why we must fight to keep our rights free from government meddling.
Banks, government buildings, Military bases and all kinds of public events have armed security nowadays, but not schools. Instead they are declared “gun free” zones, where guns are banned, yet what happens? How will banning guns fix the problem?
The real motive to all this coverage is:
The democrats want to win back power. They think this is a winning issue, so they are going to use it to their perceived advantage of hammering the Republicans and the NRA (whom they call the gun lobby, ignoring the fact that the NRA represents millions of law-abiding gun owners, and not gun manufacturers), in order to get control of Congress and state governments.
Tell every gun owner you know—DON’T LET THEM WIN! WHEN THEY WIN, YOU LOSE!

Couple of idle gossip items.
We hear that Joe Biden, mine own Delaware Senator and former VP, has hinted that he’s not out of the election in 2020.
Well yeah, he’ll be 105 but with the help of a wheelchair he’ll get around.
Fergie sings one of my all time favorite songs so I know the dolt can sing. The song she sings that I like is “Big Girls Don’t Cry”.
But what the hell was she thinking when she sang that horrible version of our National Anthem at the NBA game?
Scuttlebutt has it that she was high on something.

So President Trump endorses Romney in his quest to be a Senator from Utah.
Romney and Trump hated each other during the 2016 campaign.
BUTBUTBUTBUT….Romney’s niece is National Chair of the RNC.
Trump is doing what he has to do.
This is a personal complaint and likely a waste of time for yon reader.
But Sean Hannity, whose radio show I listen to most every day, has this thing where he gets into some kind of spat with his administrative assistant, think her name is Linda.
Yesterday Linda got into a spat with another behind the scenes guy and it was just so annoying.
Somebody tell Sean to grow up.
And while I’m at it, that silly little argument after Hannity’s Fox show into Laura Ingraham’s gets old as well.
Thursday Date-2.22.18
Billy Graham died today at age 99.
He was surely an icon of his era.
Rest in Peace Rev. Graham.
President Trump held a sort of Town hall meeting with children and parents of school shootings.
Trump did very well and I don’t seem to recall President Obama doing such a thing.
Some of those young people were just repeating gun control rhetoric but quite a few of them came off as sincere, perplexed, scared and hurt.
I am reminded of court houses.
Do you think anyone could get into a court house with a gun in a backpack?
Sure it’s going to cost bucks but our schools should be set similarly. Make them put their backpacks through an x-ray conveyor belt. Put cameras all around the school with one central viewing station.
Man I live in a little rancher and I can sit in my kitchen and watch the dogs out in the yard no matter where they are.
You mean in this technological era we can’t do this for schools?
Yes. It’s time we fix the problem.
Not to state the obvious, taking MY gun away will NOT fix the problem.
Let us learn something here.
Friday Date-2/23/18
Some updates and new facts regarding that Florida shooting.
First, the new debate would require a person to be over 21 to buy an AR-15.
I mean, how silly is that? First, evil murderers do NOT obey the law. They’d find a way to get an illegal ID with a bad birthdate. Meanwhile widow women like me have to beg and plead for a gun for self-protection.
Now what’s this about that school had an armed security guard who spent many minutes waiting outside and listening to those kids getting shot inside?
Name is Scot Peterson I think and he resigned and thank God.
Now I know that the fellow was not obligated to go inside and get shot himself for not knowing exactly where the shooter was.
But cowering in a corner while kids get shot?
It seems incongruous with his position and his responsibilities.
Finally, the video feed was running 20 minutes delay.
Why?
Why wasn’t the video running timely so that one might check the surround for what is CURRENTLY upon?
Or was that old Scot’s job too?
On this horrible event, every police agency assigned failed.
And again…THEY WANT TO TAKE THE GUNS AWAY FROM WIDOWS LIKE ME!!!!
Saturday Date-2/24/18
As of this writing it’s been reported that some female drove her vehicle through the White House Gates.
It is said that the Secret Service somehow intervened and nobody was hurt.
Remember the guy who climbed the White House fence and ran across the lawn? The Secret Service didn’t catch that guy until after he went into the White House.
Man, our federal police are great, huh?
Lots of snippage over the guy who stood outside while young adolescents were methodically being shot dead about six feet from him.
Scot Peterson was his name and he, rightfully, resigned. A waste of money, a waft of stinky wind, a nothing-burger who will have to carry this stigma the rest of his life.
I read, or heard on talk radio a few idiots defending him, telling us how we don’t know how we would act if we were to suddenly find ourselves into this situation.
No. Indeed I might become a “Broward Coward” and stand still as young people died by methodical gunshots.
But if I did, I would be a waste of money, a waft of stinky wind, a nothing burger who would have to carry this stigma the rest of my life.
What’s your point?
On a personal note…..
…..I have often written on this forum about my nephew, my late husband’s brother’s son, Matthew Fish.
He is now 16 years of age and has since early childhood declared he would someday be president. He even tells me the year he will be eligible.
Recently Matthew attended some kind of mock U.N. thing as Matthew will happily participate if it involved politics. Matthew is extremely conservative by the way and he loves to sit and talk with me for hours. I know as much as he does it would seem.
Anyway, I quote:
“The 2018 Harvard United Nations award for Outstanding Delegate in the role of President of National Council for Social Security Fund for China goes to….MATTHEW FISH!!! 3,300 high school students from around the world participated. Only the top 2 percent won Outstanding Delegate or higher awards. Congrats to Matthew”.
Bear in mind that Matthew is no relation by DNA to me, nor is he related to my beautiful granddaughter Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn has met Matthew and someday I predict she will be this country’s First Lady.
