The difference between the “Left” and the NRA is that the left “is” Astroturf, while the NRA represents large numbers of real people. A lot of companies are about to find out about that difference.

I just cancelled our Symantec subscription. When it runs out in April we’ll move to PCMatic.

The media is doing what they always do to push the agenda. They are acting as the microphone to make the minority, statist, elitist view seems like a GIANT majority view. But try as they might and do whatever they do they will find that a majority of Americans support the Second Amendment.

There is a reason the NRA is as big as it is. It is not because of astro-turf support. It is because of real, tangible membership support. Whatever wish cast they wish to create that is bought by these cowardly companies at their own peril. The reality is that the strong, large and diverse membership of the NRA will be watching and no fake news story will change that.

On another note, I am a firearms owner and was not a member of the NRA. . .until today. I don’t know what I was thinking.

There are only 5 million NRA members to 325 million non members in the United States. That’s the bottom line. I actually was surprised by the low nra membership. Thought it’d be way higher.

If these companies have been promised any government business and/or regulatory relief for dumping the NRA

Dems are not in power—do you think GOPe would do this? Or maybe Deep State?

This means no 10 percent discount. AAA, being in the military and just being a senior citizen gets you the same thing. Many overlap so I doubt the company will lose much.

So , call, FReepers, call them at 314-512-5000!

Exactly!!

I called, earlier today, and an Enterprise C/S rep confirmed to me that they had, indeed, severed ties with NRA.

I then told the Rep that I would sever ties with Enterprise, as the NRA is all about safety and training and that NOT ONE of these crazed shooters has been an NRA member...that they were going after the wrong organization, with this farce, leftist boycott.

Time to call/email/tweet/etc all of these companies, FReepers. Email this Breitbart article to everyone on your contact list.

Enterprise Avis and National are all same company...

I think you mean ALAMO... Not AVIS

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enterprise_Holdings

Enterprise Holdings, Inc. is a private holding company headquartered in the Clayton suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, United States.[1] It is the parent company of car rental companies Enterprise Rent-A-Car,[2] National Car Rental,[2] Alamo Rent a Car,[2] and Enterprise CarShare. The holding company was formed in 2009 as a result of Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s 2007 acquisition of Vanguard Automotive Group, the parent company of National Car Rental and Alamo Rent a Car. The company sells its used cars through Enterprise Car Sales. It is owned by the Taylor family.[3]

Well all this was enough for me to renew my NRA membership.

Most of the PC companies are a bunch of sniveling cowards,The Hell with them.

I just permanently closed my Facebook account and I am closing my Amazon Prime account for start. Can't find a way to get away from Google as I use YouTube too much. But it's all a start.

It is amazing that all the news coming out on the total failure of Law Enforcement to do their jobs on that school shooting. A lot of Blood is on Broward County Sheriff's office and the FBI. Head should roll but probably won't.

5 mil is still 5 mil. Businesses don’t bail on that may prospective customers without a reason. Especially given the track record of the companies trying it recently. I’ll bet that thsee companies have been promised something, regulatory relief, fat gov’t contracts, tax relief, etc. for doing it. If so, I can’t wait til it comes out. And it will.

Deep State, the uniparty. Whatever you want to call it. And not just at the federal level. I’d look at states, too. Have any of these companies, for example, recently received any tax breaks/incentives/relief/contracts from any state whose officials have an axe to grind? Since money is fungible, might take some green eyeshade types to find the trail, but follow the money.

Last I checked:

1. The NRA wasn't contacted by Internet Bloggers and Friends of the Shooter that Cruz was unhinged, that would be the FBI.

2. The NRA wasn't called out to the Cruz's house 30 times. That would be the Broward Cops / Sheriffs.

3. The NRA wasn't cowering undercover when someone having performing the job they we're paid for would have saved lives.

NRA needs to gets that message out. These Company's need to suffer for their knee jerk reaction.

Hmmm means something to me...
\
Why would any NRA member want to spend money with a corporation that took an opposing stand? Enterprise has basically sided with CNN leftist agenda, and I and my family won’t give them one bloody dime going forward!
\\
They can make rentals for leftists wearing pajama pants living in their parents basements, but not from me.
