when she and her husband took the car to the repair shop, the mechanic was certain this was not an accident, because the tire was slashed as well as punctured. Later, a friend of hers who is a police officer and a homeschooling dad pointed out that whoever had jabbed the blade into her tire had done it in such a way that it wouldn’t start deflating until she began driving.Probably due to the incitement by the violent thugs at the various CNN fake news events.
I live in DC and have the same reservation. I'm about to the point that I want to get Trump or other Republican, conservative or pro-life stickers and very neatly place them on top of Democrat/leftist stickers on, especially, new and expensive cars. Let the liberals be vandalized by their own.
I would not put a sticker on a car that wasn't already sporting one, even if I knew the driver's politics. But liberals feel free to deface our signage. If someone has made his bumper a billboard, turnabout is fair play.
I usually don’t park near others in big lots to avoid dings and dents if I can help it.
Last November, 16 Tacoma wound up with a dent and neat small retangular gash by the rear bumper on the driver’s side.
It probably happened at Lowes where I make it a point to park well away.

Back in the 80s, I pulled out of the car dealer and drove a half a mile in my brand new minivan, pulled in at a sporting goods store. When I came out, my van had been keyed. California.

I were her, I’d be noting\taking pic. of all the cameras I could find. If I had to go ask myself for a copy (for some $$ for their time/patience) I’d be doing it.
Sorry, but I wouldn’t be trusting the law-enforcement arm of the govt. for anything.
